Can't find enough good food

I can't figure out what to eat when on the run and out of the house. Everyone is warning me I eat too much tuna because of Mercury. I keep a can opener in the truck and run in for a can when I get hungry. At least one can a day, sometimes more. I grab kidney beans and eat them cold from the can, but that makes my sodium go up. When I don't have steak and chicken with me, what can I make a quick pit stop and pick up when on the road? I try to eat almonds as a snack every day but don't want to do that too many times and protein bars are good but how many a day of those can you eat?

Thanks
Roc
I buy no salt added kidney beans

Eggs and milk are cheap and full of protien. Brutus got his Shit down. And OP if You are on a quest to get big, welcome to the world of always eating Shit you are tired of eating. It turns eating to feeding. I haven't eaten in three years, I feed.
Have to disagree on milk being exactly cheap as per % of protein. Whey powder is a lot cheaper. Also is cottage cheese/quark or sunflower seeds (great source of fat also). Agree on all other accounts. I personally mix and drink raw eggs, I cannot push myself to eat even 4 cooked really...

Whey is defiantly cheaper but I like to mix up protein sources and absorption rates... hard boiled has been the key to my success. Four bites, swig of ice water, two more bites, water, done. Repeat every 15-20 minutes with eggs on ice.

I can't look at a scrambled egg without gagging.

Yeah boiled eggs are the way to go , I usually eat one whole egg to every 3 or 4 egg whites ...

Right I also mix my whey with milk nearly always. I have the exact opposite problem, I can eat unhealthy cooked with oil eggs like scrambled or omelette but boiled... hence why I drink them opera singer style hahaha

I really don't count calories. I try and eat 12-18 hardboiled eggs a day and drink a gallon of whole milk daily. That way I can eat 2 or 3 meals and have a couple shakes and I am in the 450 gram of protein range.

Thats serious beastmode there . Geez ...

I bought a gallon of milk at Sam's yesterday for $1.90. That is 128 grams of protien for less than two bucks. That is priddy fucking cheap. Are there cheaper protien sources for the % of course. But I wasn't comparing milk to whey or anything else. I stated milk was a cheap protien source. So if you disagree with that, more power to you.

^^^ I boil mine that way as well, but had heard you can put a bunch in the oven @ like 350 in muffin container and they come out like boiled. Haven't tried it, but was thinking it might be easier when doing a big batch

Fuck that is cheap, looks like you get much better prices for milk in the states than us in Europe.

It's an average of 2.50 in my area and often lower if th can catch it at the right time. What do you guys pay per gallon? How about unleaded gasoline?

$1 a liter, which means about $3.5 a gallon. However our milk seems to have less protein in it or something because if a gallon = 3.8 liters and our milk contains 30g protein per liter it adds up to 114g of protein per $3.5. Quark for example costs $2 per 180g protein. I have no clue how much unleaded gasoline costs, not a driver haha, will have to get back to you on that later.

Lol I am far from being in the UK :D From what I have read difference between Quark and Cottage Cheese is the salt content, Quark has nearly no taste if it's the 0% fat one which I buy, content is 18g protein 2g carbs 0g fats per 100g.
