Calves and forearms.

Just curious how often other people work these two muscle groups? I've always lagged with those muscles, but since I started hitting em hard EOD I've seen good improvements so yah just want to see how others get it done. Thanks.

I train calves twice a week. Forearms I don't worry about too much. There's only so much that you can do to target them effectively, and if you do deadlifts, chinups, heavy rows etc. they should be pretty in-line with the rest of your arms.

If you're having difficulty with them, reverse-grip EZ-bar curls are good, as are those rope on a handle weighted twist things -- whatever those are called.

I should clarify I only train my left forearm twice a week and don’t train the right since it’s more developed than the left. Only training the left to catch up to the right. Otherwise I would not train them because they get enough work from other exercises.

I have never honestly done much of anything specific for my forearms, they have always been well developed but I do notice that they get a lot more pumped the more I use dumbells. Calves on the other hand I work twice a week, on leg day. I have never had big calves, good striations and descent overall development but just can’t get that classic heart shape. I was always a skinny boy looking to get bigger, some of the best calf development I have seen is usually on guys who started out heavy- then lost weight when they got in shape.

It’s actually from fingering [emoji118] too much with my dominate hand. I really need to switch it up sometimes [emoji23].
Fortunately for me my wife has a healthy sex drive to go along with my TRT [emoji1787]
Wait....who is the one getting fingered...?

Came to this thread for tips on growing my forearms(my calves are already pretty nice I think) and was not disappointed... well disappointed I didn’t find much on forearms but that was made up for by the thread content.

Head over to the grip strength thread. Maybe that'll help you out.
