Bulking

Hey bros, when yoou guys bulk, how high do you let your BF% go. Im around 16-18% right now and im starting to feel like a fat ass.

I wouldnt let it get much, if any, over 20% -- I have done it before and I wasnt pretty--

But everyone is different and seems to have widely varying opinions on this topic-- Some guys I know dont let theirs go over 10-12% --- others dont even care to know what their bf is

I always tell myself that I am going to loose fat, but then I decide to bulk further-- I have finally decided that I am going to get to 260lbs before I cut the fat- good luck
 
I'm cutting now and it sucks at first (no more McyD's) but as much as I hate to say it when you lean out hard, even if you lose muscle mass, chick dig ripped guys.
 
i'm about 140 bf 12% like to cut up a bit maybe 125 would be ideal. oh im 5'10" thinking i should get some t-3 ,clen, and dnp, i've gor alot of knowledge and i've been lifting serious for about 3 mos any input? thanks

Are you kidding me???? 5'10 and 140 and you want to loose weight??? Bro 140 is skinny, 125 is a crack head--

You need to eat like a horse and put some meat on your bones--

Also, you have been lifting for only 3 months and you are considering dnp?? Come on bro, that is a pretty serious drug--- Dont even think about AAS or dnp, clen, t-3 till you have a few years of training and better understanding of these drugs, and some natural bodyweight

I am not trying to flame you, but get serious-

BTW_- I was actually asking knockdown what his weight and goals were
 
SB, im currently 228lbs, I lose about 12lbs on the last time I was trying to diet. My goal is some where aroound 250-260lbs, I gain weight with no problem but Im not sure i want to see my self anywhere near 19-22 BF

You sound like me--- I dieted down to about 228 and now I am stuck at 240 aiming at 250-260--- Sounds like a stretch with this cycle, as I cant seem to get over the 240 mark--- I am trying to add another 1000cals to my diet daily but that is a struggle also

oh well gotta keep my eyes on the prize
 
i'm 5'9" and 186 right now at 11% BF most of my weight is in my legs though and i'm trying to balance that out. this is really my first time bulking seriously. i've lifted for many years, but never with the proper diet. i've told myself not to get over 14% BF while bulking. when i get to that point, i just start to feel like crap and loose my motivation. when i look in the mirror and see more fat than muscle, then i don't feel like lifting. i'd rather be a little leaner and not gain as much than to put on a whole bunch of fat with the muscle and have to get rid of it later. the less BF you put on, the easier it is to get rid of it later.
 
Shit bulking with out the help of AAS sucks, you bro's make it sound easy. I'm starting to think that im a hard grainer. I eat everything, and I mean everything, even fat seems to be hard for me to pack on.

How tall are you bigkarch-- Also got any pictures?
 
When bulking, I hang out around 12%. When cutting I try to get down around 8%. I try not to get too fat when bulking because I at least like to see some of the muscle. I may have to change that though because I'm having a hard time getting up past 210.

I use to try to keep my bf low(under 12-13% all the time, but I never really seemed to gain serious size-- I was stuck around 180-185, now I allow my bf to get to around 18-20% when I bulk, and now I about 240-- I believe that if you want serious size you have to gain some fat---Hell you even be pretty fat, but imagine when you diet down from about 275-285bs with pretty high bf- to about 220-230 with low bf-- It will all be worth it in the end-- Bulking can take years, dieting takes months--- Where should the focus be????

I get so tired of these guys who are afraid to gain any fat, but they never gain any real size either-- The low carb craze and the magazines hyping their low carb, lean size products drill that crap in peoples heads--- You will never be a muscular as you can be by eating clean all the time(Their are some genetically gifted people that can do this, but most people dont have these genetics)

BTW-- I am not directing this at you lestagear--I am just ranting to whoever is listening
