As bodybuilders or powerlifters, we eat more than the average human.
I've always been limited in my diet by Abdominal Distention and bloating/gas.
I've always dealt with it.
Since I get acid reflux, and have always dealt with that using some form of acid reducer....
This causes more issues with digestion.
Heck, humans are one of the only mammals that drunk when they eat. This I suspect can neutralize needed stomach acidity. I do have a referral for endoscopy.
People see all the youtube videos, and people with flat stomachs, not knowing that some of these videos are made with some preperation in diet for that day. Otherwise they would have a distended stomach.
People see a video of a pro bodybuilder with their shirt off in the off-season, training in a video, and cry "Bubble Gut", not even considering the immense amount of food in the abdomen.
My stomach is distended usually throughout the day. Flatter when I wake up. In the summer on vacation, I modify my diet for flatter stomach during times when I may have my shirt off.
So what say you on the issue of stomach distension? Do you say screw it and go full bear mode. Do you suck it in while out and about?(helps with vacuum anyway).
I can only imagine how uncomfortable mass monsters are. I mean look at what this dude is eating. I realize it can be somewhat for the looks of the video, but still... no way I am trying to eat like this. Plus, I'm now only 5'9" at 41 yrs. I'm around 235 and you can see my abs most of the time. They sort of diminish in the winter when I go bear mode and increase calories. So, no mass monster, so no need to eat like this.
