For some context I usually test around the 90’s but recently my levels have been way higher. Ive been sick for a while so I havent had a lot of exercise but I slept for ~12 hours and didnt eat for another 5 hours (17 hour fast) and tested my levels at 106 mg/dl. Ive tested before as well and I woke up with 116 mg/dl despite having a no carb dinner at around 8, slept at 11. I have no clue whats going on but this past month my levels are all way higher

What are you taking?

Im not currently on anything besides ashwagandha, berberine, and magnesium glycinate. I have no clue why my levels are so high and it doesnt seem to be reading wrong
Yeah copy. I thought maybe steroid or HGH induced. I had a similar issue and had to stop HGH. I've started Metformin and hopefully it will allow me to run HGH again.

You've been sick, and you body releases stress hormones which causes your liver to release glucose for energy driving you numbers up some.

I havent had a bloodwork in a while because I had to stop for a ~3 month business trip. I believe my A1c was around 5.2 about 5 months ago
Well, the A1c average is a three month BG if I'm not mistaken , so maybe you want to get that updated. I highly doubt it's changed much unless you are prediabetic or worse. I would just give it another week or so and keep strict records of your FBG and then get the average., most units have a average of your blood glucose. Track "trends" not necessarily a day-to-day number, because they can change as you see .
