The recent upswing in the value of bitcoin, edging past $1,800 this week, has significantly increased demand for this digital currency here at Bitstamp. So, what better time to make buying bitcoin even easier for our US customers?

That’s why we are delighted to announce that we have now added the USA to the list of countries where our customers can buy bitcoin by Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card.*

Only a one-time verification of your card details is required before instant bitcoin purchases on Bitstamp are yours.

Nice, thanks for the info.

One last bit of advice for bitstamp or cex.io. they want you to upload pics/images at 300dpi, your camera takes pics at 72dpi. To convert, download free program "gimp" to your computer then google how to convert image to 300dpi using gimp. This will help you when submitting your images.
