Or maybe I'll stick around for a while...better introduce myself.

Used to be an avid lifter for several years. Settled down, got married, made babies, got fat. REAL fat. Ballooned up to 500lbs at 5'9". Still carried a bunch of muscle and worked an active job but was so tired I couldn't do shit afterward. Inactive husband, dad, etc. Healthmarkers started eating shit. Decided to make a change in 2022. Got down to around 450 then found GLP's. Kept working, nailed down diet and hit the tirzepatide all the way down to 275. Been stalled there for a while. Felt like shit despite weight loss and figured out my test was fairly low in the 300's. Doc wouldn't prescribe trt as I was still in the "normal" range and that's what lead me to Meso; self-managed trt.

Goals: Continue weight loss, build muscle back, optimize hormones and overall health.

What does your training look like?

What bloodwork have you done for yourself?

What does your lipid panel and blood pressure look like?

Have you had any cardiac imaging done? Calcium score, echocardiogram?

Being 500 pounds comes with 500 pound problems. Before you get to in to the testosterone and stuff, make sure you are thoroughly investigating what damage has been done to your organs, and if using testosterone is a healthy thing for you to be doing.

It's possible that your Dr had other risk factors calculated when he told you no to trt

Fair questions and point taken. Admittedly, yeah, I got excited about the prospects of trt and probably jumped aboard without a thorough plan or checking all the boxes.

For the most part, things are good: workouts, bloods, lipids...checked pre-trt and a little over a month and a half after starting. But I'm only now really learning about heart and inflammation markers like Crp and calcium scores. Got an echo scheduled as well but, yeah, should've knocked that out before starting.
