Big and tall /athletic clothes!

Big and tall store near me started carrying athletic fit clothes for guys with big chest and arms that don't want their shirt hanging down to their knees. And pants that FIT! Anyone else experienced this awesome clothing? And why did it take so fucking long for someone to think to make it

Take it from a guy who accidentally ripped a dress while dressing as Kate Jenner last year for Halloween. Ripping your clothes from flexing really isn't as great as it sounds

I just get my clothes custom made or tailored It's the only way to go!

Taking them to a good tailor is actually not that expensive. Find a reputable tailor in your area and ask how much they charge for alterations.

Only problem I'm having is I buy xl and they're too fucking short.

XL is a good length for me, but they're baggy as shit from the bottom of my chest down. I've tried large/tall and those were good for a while, and the length is perfect, but they're too tight up too now.

I'm 6'2" and 214 as of yesterday

Damn you're taller than me and xl for some reason is getting short on me (my gym shirts more so than my other shirts). I'm 5'11" 240 and mine are baggy as hell at the bottom too.

Same here, had my tailor make a bunch of knee length shorts last time - in Chino, regular cotton, and ez-type black semi-formal for a dressier look, think actual Bermuda dress code. It's great with just enough leg and ass room and a waist that fits, don't even need a belt.

More difficult with tshirts or athletic gear, anything that fits on top tends to be a tent around the waist - a 10" or 12" difference btw chest and waist isn't what normal clothes are made to look like. Any suggestions with tshirts and Polo shirts? I'd like to get 100% natural fibers too, and ideally made in the US. Tall order, ha ha

Annoying isn't it? You can get spandex type light compression shirts, but that looks dorky outside the gym, if not everywhere. Maybe it's a physical impossibility to have a tshirt that is narrower around the bottom than the top - how would you get it on and off? Maybe finding a shirt with about 10% spandex and the rest cotton would work - if anyone makes one?

Tailoring like was mentioned would help but like you mentioned I wonder if it would be hell to get it over the lats to take it off. Big guy problems I guess.

6'3" and 215-220lbs. XL's fit my shoulders fairly well, a little tight but it looks really baggy around the waist. Under Armor XL charged cotton shirts fit me the best.
