Beware of fake primo & mast on the market

A friend bought some primoE and mastE a few months ago to use alongside his TRT, from a well known source I used to buy from (not on Meso, but rather SST and already removed from there). He got the last six vials of each that were in stock. He called me yesterday saying he gotten 'ripped' on 250test + 300 mast/primo - but he cannot come and has new, severe insomnia. Of course I'm like 'dude you're taking tren'.

He sent me pics of the vials, both the primoE and mastE are quite yellowish/golden... so I'm 99% sure he received vials of mixed EQ+tren (both of which are still relatively available), rather than primo and mast. All my primo/mast (some from same source, but purchased 1-2 years ago) is all clear or very nearly so, none of it is strongly yellowish/golden. He ordered some new product from Axle/808 before they stopped taking orders which should be good. And I'm going to give him some caber, zopiclone, and quetiapine to take care of his current issues - the mast was prop so hopefully it was tren ace but who knows, if enanthate it will be a problem for a few weeks rather than days.

Mentioning this because as frustrating as it is to see quality sources chronically OOS of some things ie primo/mast, they are being honest and not trying to just profit by baiting and switching their clients. I was hoping the raw shortage would be resolving but that does not seem to be the case, so greedy/unscrupulous sources may start pulling this shit more and more.

The source I mentioned above has been around a long time and had a good reputation for product quality (despite little testing), everything I have bought/used was fine and never had an issue getting my orders which were always correct - suppose I was lucky. But more recently there have been lots of problems with unfulfilled orders and absent customer service, and now I can only assume what is intentionally mislabeled cheap product being sold at the price of a scarce/premium product.

There are some excellent sources still active on SST, Hypertrophy Labs in particular although I believe he will be closing temporarily in the near future. And of course Opti & Arail, who are also here.
 
You can't tell anything by the color of the oil. My source that has been around since 2002 has had primo and mast that were almost clear, then other batches that were a yellow/gold color like you describe. Every vial tested spot on and definitely was not tren.
 
So you haven't tested anything and don't know if it's actually fake?

For all people on the interwebs who like to piss and moan about fake gear I feel like actual fake gear is nearly non existent. Underdosed? Maybe. But straight up just fake? Probably about as common as woodpecker lips. It ain't the 90's anymore where you were buying vials from some dude's fanny pack in the Gold's gym bathroom. Most people now buy from established labs.

Not because of the color, but because of the effects:

Severe insomnia, night sweats, and inorgasmia. His HCT also went over baseline from his TRT which masteron typically does not do, primo sure but he's been using that for a while. And he lost a huge amount of fat / recomped in a way that should not occur running relatively low doses of test/primo/mast. That should ring a bell for anyone who has used tren.

Now he did not go 'crazy' on it, but neither do I on tren (at least up to 350mg/wk). Both of us are laid back individuals not prone to anger/violence.

I'm not naming the source exactly because it has not been tested. There have been reported issues with this particular source for quite a while, although generally not related to the products quality. My last order was well over a year ago, I never had any issues and oils/tabs always worked as expected.

I have test, primo, and mast from many sources (including a good bit of old stock from this one) ranging from clear to pale yellow, I know color is variable and based on the carrier oil, amount of time of heat, etc. That said, his vials are far more yellow/golden than any mast/primo I have or have ever seen, that were not tren or a tren mix.

I wish this was the case and it probably is but what is happening is that UGL’s are buying raws that are promised to be primo

Even being sent samples for so that the UGL can test ( samples are primo)

Then they place an order and are sent something else …

This happened recently to a UK UGL that was caught out after blind testing… they rectified and did apologise but still … risky field out there when certain products are in shortage

this would make sense
the source I was referring to was never big on doing his testing, and some of the testing that was posted was provided by the raw supplier.

best sources now, and the ones I am buying from, are doing their own testing both of the raws before brewing and the finished oil.

Hard to find sources that committed to testing

Better of just sending to Jano yourself and split testing cost with someone ordering same batch
