Beta blocker experts needed :)

Hey guys,
so long story short i have serious heart issues since beginning of May. I am wearing a lifevest since then and had a double catheter + heart biopsys done last week. The results are not there yet but i guess they will come next week.
My main issue is seriously decreased Ejection Fraction (around 20%), Left ventrical enlargement etc.
(the cause is either "non-compaction cardiomyopathy" or myocarditis, which the biopsys should reveal).

I was at 2 different hospitals (one for my first time when i couldnt breath properly and one for the double catheter last week) and also at a knowledgeable cardiologist.
Now my medication is
Entresto 1-0-1 (48/52mg tablet)
Torasemid (2-1-0) (5mg tablet)
Eplerenone 1-0-0 (25mg tablet)
and beta blocker.
For the beta blocker, i have 2 different opinions and now i am not sure which i should take
1.) Nebivolol starting dosage 2,5mg
2.) Carvedilol 2x 6,25mg starting dosage.

Right now i am on Nebivolol but i am wondering if carvedilol would be more effective in treatment?
thanks alot!

I take bystolic. Dont know much about it but just 5mg and it does wonder for my resting heart rate and blood pressure. And I take in the morning around 4am and go to work and still work out. Doesnt effect me in anyway. Or libido wise. Wish I could help more. Hope you heal up though brother. Hate to hear stuff like this

Yeah this is why i also prefered Nebivolol and why i havent switched yet.
I like it as a beta blocker but also because it has a host of other benefits and does not reduce excersise capacity at all according to studies.
Blood pressure is no issue though, at least not hyper. Due to all my medications i am around 105/60 right now and still have to increase the entresto and torasemid (and the beta blocker).
have to do it slowly, else low BP makes me completely non-functional
thanks for your wishes buddy :)

Hope you get well soon M@NU and hang in there

for those taking bystolic and who exercise are you able to get your heart rate up to target heart rate zone when doing cardio?

beta-blockers by design decrease ones heart rate. Some may not effect exercise capacity per se but it’s harder to get heart rate high when doing cardio. I guess depends on dose

I take labetalol which helps my bp better than bystolic did without negatively affecting my exercise capacity. Only issue I can’t get heart rate high when doing cardio. Doc said work on endurance and not so much worrying about heart rate

thanks guys, i wont give up, dont worry. Positive mindset here since negativity wont bring me anywhere but probably 3m deep into the ground.
