Best diuretic for swelling?

I have swollen hands and feet, also a puffy face (on hgh and test e). Swollen hands sometimes seem to get better but then other days its terrible. I heard about hctz or indapamide, does someone have experience or could suggest me what to do?

Edit: currently taking 4iu hgh instead 8iu

Blood work and more info:

21m, 180mg test e, 6.25mg aromasin ed and 12.5mg on injection days, 8iu hgh and 50mcg t4, 10000iu daily vit d3 (I had vitamin d deficiency)
Type 1 diabetic so also insulin

natty test: 700
natty e2: 26
natty igf1: 290

Note that I was mildly dehydrated (around 1L daily average the last 3 days of the blood test, I didnt feel thirsty, but my hands were very dry.

I did the blood test 36 hours post injection (I do twice weekly 90mg test e)

36 hours post injection means peakish test and e2 levels, my natty test was 700 and e2 26.
Also one thing I wanted to test with aromasin was if I can absorb fat soluble medication properly as I have suspected pancreas insufficiency. 6,25mg ed and 12,5mg on injection days has my e2 at 36. 36 is the perfect e2 value for me, but I think the dose I take (56,25mg/week of aromasin) is quite high. It could be I dont absorb aromasin fully as its fat soluble.

Main symptoms I have are high resting heart pulse (not always), swollen hands and feet, puffy face
Also the right side of my belly has a sweeling/lump, which isnt hard and doesnt hurt but I havent noticed it before. Also chronic upper-mid (including shoulder) back pain with „pop“ sounds at almost every movement I do, even when taking a deeper breath, didnt have or noticed it prior to taking test e and hgh. Probably coincidence tho.

I used hgh for like 5 months so Im unsure if thats what causes my symptoms or something different.

The protocol for an adult being treated with rHGH who develops edema would be HCTZ 12.5-25mg/day. It's a mild diuretic compared to others.

However, being dehydrated triggers a number of things to happen that makes the body store water in interstitial spaces, so you can be "dry on the outside, puffy on the inside".

I'd suggest take in a lot more water for a week or two first and see if that reduces the edema, as counterintuitive as it sounds.

After that, you could try HCTZ 12.5mg. It reaches maximum effect after about 3 days. If still swollen, increase to 25mg and see how you are after 3 days.

If swelling worsens (a rare reaction) stop the HCTZ immediately.

Also, high blood pressure worsens edema. What's yours?

Aromasin can lower estrogen locally, so it can he completely depleted in joints and tendons even if blood levels look almost too high like yours. The pain is mostly the result of inflammation. Vit D looks good, so the next most effective thing to lower inflammation would be 2000 mg fish oil. Or lower the aromasin dose and see how you feel after a few weeks. If no sensitive nipples higher e2 might be tolerable and it could relieve your joint issues.

Why not using stuff like torsemide, eplerenone or amiloride? Hctz is definitely not the best in this situation in my opinion: too many minerals lost, worse insulin sensitivity

i heard sesamin also helps, but not sure how effective
Doesn't seem effective at all.
I order the drugs I talked up there from India. I got ankles swelling too. My job doesn't really help me I'm always standing up next to a hot furnace.
I will try this protocole from chat GPT

Considerations..

Water-@least 1 gallon/day. 1 liter/day? Come on bro, you know better. You had blood drawn while dehydrated. Assuming you don't make that a habit, it's really hard to compare with the trend in your blood work. If I'm dehydrated, my numbers look like shit. Do the same thing every blood draw regarding water to get a more accurate look at the numbers.

Diet- Clean, lower carbs. I have to keep my carbs under 100g/day or I blow up. Kind of like forces me to stay on track and keep diet in check. Furosemide, HCTZ, Dandelion root, potassium, etc, nothing worked. Tightening my diet did.

Cardio/ Sauna- The sauna, serio, I lost 6lbs water in 30min. I hadn't realized how much my breathing was affected by the water retention till the sauna.

The lump, could it be a hernia? My cuz used to have to wear a stretch belt/back brace around his abdomen to hold the hernia in.

Did you titrate your gear and hgh, or jump back in? A rise in androgens and hgh too quickly will cause water retention naturally, as I'm sure your aware.

Keep us posted on what works... good luck

Go with a potassium-sparing diuretic like eplerenone (Selective aldosterone antagonist). Start at 12.5 mg twice a day and increase as needed up to the max dose if required.

If that’s not enough, add a thiazide-like diuretic — I prefer chlorthalidone for its long half-life. Combining these helps retain potassium and lowers the risk of electrolyte issues. I also recommend taking around 1 g of magnesium glycinate before bed to support electrolytes balance.

I personally stay on eplerenone year-round, which works well for me. And whatever diuretic you’re using, always check your potassium levels with routine blood work.

edit : Also, as soon as you take a potassium-sparing diuretic, YOU SHOULD NOT SUPPLEMENT POTASSIUM.

Are you on it?
UGL raw? or India Pharma

Isn't the starting dose 25 1x daily with it moving up to 50mg?

I'm on it, and it's prescribed by my cardiologist, so local pharma grade. The starting dose is 25mg, that's why I advised 12.5mg twice a day, it's half life is pretty short (3-6h).

Taking it 3x a day would even be better.

I was trying to figure out how to get it prescribed lol.
I know UGL has raws but Its a hassle to send for testing and cap small doses...also quite pricey off India Pharma...

Have you tried other diuretics and how would you compare in terms of diuretic effect? (Ignoring BP effects)
