With this lockdown I can’t do much in the way of smashing strength goals so I’ve taken up running. Starting with a sub 20 min 5k goal. Eventually moving up to a 10k time.

Most 5 & 10k programs are 40 miles per week on the low end and can be upwards of 100 miles on the high end.

What would be good to run to help by body take this beating as I move up in weekly mileage?

Obviously enhanced recovery is the top priority with endurance secondary.

Currently on just 150mg test e, would 250mg be better? Or would the increase water weight hurt me too much?

Not willing to use EPO, slin or waste money on hgh when this is just recreational.

Most pros use low dose test prop, hgh and slin, but they also get tested so they are more limited in choice.

too musch test u will get extra weight from water retention,and maybe pumps will bother u...think low dose EQ would be great for running

Only thing I might add to low dose test prop and HGH would be low dose EQ. You do not want the extra glycogen and water weight most aas bring for running long distances.

If 150 test e keeps you on the high end of natty range and doesn't add too much water then that should be good.
 
Just enough test to put you high end of free T and HGH. Don’t skimp on the carbs when you get into it. Fuel the workouts...can make an amazing difference on tempo efforts. Don’t need them so much for long slow distance or vo2 work. Tempo burns through glycogen though.
 
I'm interested in your running background. Do you have any recent times and/or weekly baseline? I'd personally shoot for the sub 20 5K and access from there. With decent base mileage and interval/fartlek training its doable for most people with some natural running ability.

What are your current stats? Height/Weight? Back when I was focused solely on running I felt best at 165-170lbs. Running now at 210 is a world of difference. And yes, the pumps do impact your running.

By the way, 100mpw really fucking hurts. I looked back at my Strava log and I was running 10-12+ hours a week when I was running 80-90mpw. So there is certainly a time commitment (running, foam rolling, eating, sleeping).

Losing weight would have greater performance-enhancing benefit than increasing androgen levels into the supraphysiological level for almost everyone. And using too many steroids makes keeping your weight down that much more difficult.

Don’t have a strong running background did my first 5k which was brutal two weeks ago and completed it in 25:10.

But my latest runs im consistently hitting 4:16/km pace. So hopefully I can get that under 4min/km by 1st June.

I’m pretty light right now, 6 2 185 10-11 percent bf.

I've ran a few 500mg test cycles, and experienced no excessive pumps or anything while running long distance. Actually ran winny, mast, and primo at different times with it, no pumps either. Only thing that caused problems was Anavar, bad calf pumps!

Over the years, I've ran a number of compounds just like stated above including hgh. Comparing using these compounds to my running days before ever using anything, AAS does little, if anything at all. My fastest 5k and highest volume was years before ever using Test. Obviously I'm older now and there may be a benefit, but I'd stick to low test for recovery and minimal weight gain. I thought HGH was the holy grail and would allow me to double my miles, uh nope.

As Millard said, weight is critical for maximum running performance unless you don't care about race times. I used to be extremely competitive in races and running. Focus on a good training plan, nutrition, sleep, and recovery.

I have found that for sprints, AAS is amazing. The speed of my sprint now compared to off cycle, but thats more due to training the type 2 muscles fibers vs type 1 muscle fiber.
 
I say to hit it up with the Ben Johnson cycle! 50mg/day of winstrol and 400mg/wk equipoise (Johnson actually used drug called furizabol, but it's intention was same as eq, to increase red blood cell count)

I say if it was good enough for Ben Johnson then it's good enough for your own Olympic training goals!!!

Yeah, sure was. I'm very familiar with it, along with other PHs in the days around DASCA 2014.

From memory, Furuza had to be dosed high and even then, mediocre results. I read a lot of logs and wasn't impressed. You can probably still buy overseas but i wouldn't waste money on it, especially if you're an endurance runner.

Lol yeah I was big on prohormone myself, sd, phera, "x tren" halodrol , msten, DMZ, max lmg. Crazy how that shit was legal. Never did m1t tho

I never felt good on any prohormones, 1ad was one back in the day that made me a depressed asshole with no sex drive. Did u ever use one that didn't make you feel bad?

Except Ben Johnson wasn't doing cycles like that especially at those dosages. Equipoise isn't comparable to Furazabol at all. And it is unlikely that Johnson ever used Furazabol anyway. Not to mention Johnson was a sprinter and not a middle distance runner.

Furaza aka Furaguno, the "prohormone" sold as a "dietary supplement" in the U.S. was "similar" to Furazabol but not actually Furazabol.

The Japanese pharmaceutical version Miotolan was discontinued in 1980(?). Supposedly, real Furazabol has been available from some UGLs in recent years but I've never read about anyone experimenting with it.

from what I’ve researched most pro athletes just use 150mg test suspension and a couple ius of gh.

Should provide massive recovery benefits when doing 25 hours+ of instense workouts per week.

The documentary icarus had the guy on something similar for his cycling race.

Pretty hard to get caught using that stack apparently.
