Best Coach Options

Yea I did this for 15 years with no coach. I got pretty strong compared to the average person, but with a coach I could’ve gotten where I am in 3-5 years instead of 15.
For strongman I imagine that learning curve is even more steep and treacherous.

It certainly can be, for me it wasn't too bad because by the time I started strongman 2 years ago (I trained 15 years with no coach and now 2 years with a coach, and I'll NEVER not have a coach ever again) I had a good enough strength base to be competitive at the amateur level with zero technique. Now my biggest weakness is my lack of athleticism. I'm not slow, but I'm certainly not fast/quick either. I certainly wouldn't be a very good strongman without the coach that I have

To be a GREAT strongman you have to be both strong and athletic.

My Tier 1: John Meadows, Chris Aceto, Chad Nicchols, Justin Miller, Matt Burzacott, Jordan Peters though he just stopped coaching now

Tier 2: Dusty Hanshaw, Brandon Ray, Justin Compton, Nelson Jones

Not good coaches: Matt Jansen,

Depending on budget etc there's a lot of good knowledgeable coaches I didn't even remember to name but been around this block for a long time those are the ones that come to my head that are open still. Bostin I have heard good things but being the stupidity he has done I'm not a huge fan of him personally.

When I think of more I'll come on here and name em again I'm sure.
So Hany Rambod doesn't make it into 1rst or 2nd tier and Matt Jansen is a bad coach. You've heard good things about Boston lol I like your list for the first part but these things made me laugh.

Did you catch Walker at the '21 Ny pro. That's a Matt Jansen product. Say what you want about Jansen, he produces some freaks.

At the end of the day a good coach is a person who understands the processes needed for the choosen result, and has an eye and personal understanding for input, and output. Which is all bodybuilding in a since is imo. You create a stimulus (training) THIS IS THE BASE, not drugs not even food. Your coach should know this and understand well.

from there you just have to weed out the immoral ones.

Hany is private he only coaches who he selects now.

Nick was not a product of Matt J, Nick was a product of Dom cardone then Nick bailed on him and went to Matt. He was already a freak long before matt, the benefit of him is he pays for peoples supps.

I've heard good things of bostin but i personally don't like him...he's a walking experiment that fails most of his experiments lol.

And yes nick killed the ny pro it wasn't even close.

It wasn't lol I think Nick will be top 6 at the olympia this year.
I think definitely top 10! 6 a little tougher I think nathan will be back better then before. Ian is very good. and James H is gonna be something to really watch out for this year.

Ramy, Brandon, Hadi, James, Nathan, Ian, still have William bonac, flex lewis. It'll be a good olympia this year that's for sure with some young blood finally.

Only thing that worries me about Nick is being early 20's and having varicose veins already, that's poor circulation in the legs at a young age and not good for a long run

i got in touch with Bostin 2 years ago, and I could proudly say right now that he doesnt know a fuck about drugs and training.
Hes a good honest guy, very nice and genuine person, but he s presumptuous, think he knows everything but in reality he knows ANYTHING, or almost anything. And my list could take 20min to be written, but dont wanna do since its not crucial.

and he doesnt care about health, nor his one nor clients one.

About Nick Walker, he s always been a freak, you cant get those arms nor if you sleep with Chad Nicholls and he explain what the fuck Ronnie used to get to that level after he competed at 91kg...

For sure he got into Interleukin 6 stuff and other expensive as fuck stuff, other than thousands of kcals and ius of insulin and HGH and insane tranining... but he clearly has made something very tricky because he competed for years with a human shape, he was beautiful at 91kg... and don’t think he didnt train as a beast and didn’t eat a lot...

That stupid lier of Milos Sarcev said Ronnie was natural before winning Olympia and he didnt ever use Increlex... i fuckin hate them all.. stupid liers... shut the fuck up like Phil Heath or Jay Cutler instead of saying bullshit...

or like that moron of Ian Vallier that said Bumstead was under his guidance and he used just TRT dosage and some Oxandrolone...

Like Lee Priest that said “i ran 1ml of deca weekly”

I think nick can beat Ian. I think Ian is over rated, mostly because he placed 7th in a weaker olympia lineup where a few who could have beat him came in off. (Dexter and Hunter) James will be interesting no doubt. If he can make a hole years worth of improvements over his Europa pro package I think he can be deadly. I doubt Nathan. To me it looks like he hasn't exactly been balls to the wall in his time away.

I think flex will be top 3, and both Bonac and roellys placings will continue to fall.

My prediction for this olympia top 10:

1. Ramy
2. Curry
3. Flex
4. Akim
5. Hadi
6. Walker
7. Bonac
8. Hollingshead
9. Roelly
10. Hunter

yep! I’ve got a nice home gym I only use on the weekends I have my kids and don’t want to leave them to go to the gym for the same reason lol

I’m interested in this too. I’ve always done my own thing, pulling ideas and techniques from people I trust (Meadows, Paul carter etc..). I have this idea that one day I want to get the body I desire And know I got there all on my own. I keep going back and forth on whether this is a good idea or not lol. This next blast I had planned to start running a Meadows program, but after switching to a new gym that has a decent amount of Prime and Arsenal Strength equipment, I’m back to planning on doing my own thing lol.
I’ve made progress, but I have this little seed of doubt in the back of my mind that says it could be more/better progress.
Damn bro i wish my gym had arsenal and prime equipment.Love the way you can load them.

*edit* idk why it’s replying to Mac and not @kastro

It’s pretty damn sweet! I was surprised to find that some of the Arsenal equipment has some seriously awkward things to them. They have a seated row machine that the only way it doesn’t smash your legs is if you 1. Don’t have legs, or 2. Lay them flat and let it destroy your balls.

The build quality is amazing, best I’ve ever seen, and the ideas are rock fucking solid, but sometimes the execution is lacking. Prime on the other hand is all around bad fucking ass.

this gym has prime: chest supported row (my absolute fav), leg press, calf raise, seated curl, seated tricep extension, chest supported row, lat pull down, flat and incline bench and a couple more. Basically all you’d ever need.

In Arsenal they have: seated 3 way row, flat and incline bench, seated OHP, standing chest supported t bar row, pendulum squat (super fucking cool!) lying chest fly machine, and a couple more.

PLUS tons of other regular gym equipment. All for $10 a month! The place across the street is $100 a month and only thing fancy they have is some free motion machines and tons of eleiko bars and plates.
