Basic/Affordable/Comprehensive Bloodwork

Just ordered 5 test for only 137$ out the door. Not bad at all and there’s a lab 45 minutes from me. May join but only getting labs done every 3-6 months after this. I should go the morning I’m supposed to pin right? And fasted? Going to skip pin that morning and not eat far as I know. Wanting to see how much I aromatize on 160mg a week.
Yeah, fasted...not sure about the pin. I usually go a couple days after my trt pin.
According to Vig Steve or Chase Irons I cant recall; they said waiting post pin to get accurate readings, I have a horrible memory but I want to say ~4days ?: or you’ll see high yields that aren’t necessarily accurate to what you’re truly regulated at. For what it’s worth.

Updated it since i was buying labs for my next cycle.
Fitomics dropped prices by ~30$, pretty impressive.

Love this organization.

Is this using spreadsheets? Ex: does it auto color the higher/lower or are you taking the time to do so?

Im about to learn spreadsheets for my taxes per my CPA; and I love these kind of lists. I’d like to make a comprehensive one myself that’s why I ask!

Man, LabCorp is straight-up trash compared to Quest. I even asked them for partial results and instead I get this love letter: “Normal turnaround time is 4 days… oh but wait, there’s an extra 3-day delay because apparently our lab can’t figure out how to send your sample anywhere else. Just sit tight, champ, you’ll get the final report when it’s good and ready.”

Like seriously? That’s the last time I’m wasting my time with them. Quest makes it simple, smooth, and they actually send partial results as they come in. With LabCorp it feels like waiting for dial-up internet to load a single picture back in the 90s.

Most recently, Quest didn't send partial results to me. (They did however, return all results in less than 24 hours.)

Thanks for sharing how labcorp works. I've never "avoided" them, but have always used quest.

The only thing I'm hesitant with in regard to quest is that many ppl claim weird e2 levels when ordering from quest. Some say it's inconsistent.

Haven’t had that issue with Quest myself. But funny enough, last time I went to LabCorp for an e2 ultra sensitive, I waited a full week just to get an email saying, “Sorry, we didn’t draw enough blood, so no results for you.” Ended up going to Quest and retaking the test. This time I didn’t even bother with the “ultra sensitive” nonsense, just ran the regular estradiol, now waiting on the results to finally show up.

I suggest taking the time for the e2 sensitive.

E2 immunoassay are designed for the high ranges seen in women (50–500+ pg/mL).

Men are typically 10–40 pg/mL. At this low end, immunoassays often overestimate or underestimate E2 because they cross-react with other steroids.

Ultra-sensitive LC/MS-MS is far superior. Especially if you’re adjusting AIs/masteron/proviron/eq, or troubleshooting low-E2 symptoms.
