snopes.com believes it's an authentic certificate of live birth. Honestly, I'm not exactly sure how you would go about researching and verifying it one way or the other. But a "die hard" republican actually referred me to that site.

I'm not in any way concerned with my own beliefs. I'm glad that i have an open mind and heart to learn why other people believe and do what they believe in. Nobody knows the truth, not one living person, so there is no need to ridicule, criticize, or down grade any other person's beliefs. obviously dennis you have your reasons for disliking obama ... agpando has is his own reasons for feeling how he does ... apart of discussing things, is debating ... without getting angry at each other, we should all be able to discuss issues .... whether we reach an agreement or not depends on how accepting we are of opposing views, and how we chose to interpret the information we are given ... the reason we are all so priveledged is becasue we have been granted the freedom of thought ...
