I don't see any issue or problem with a temporary ban in order to get the vetting process in that Trump wants.

Why not simply enact the vetting process without the ban? What's the ban meant to do besides ban people from certain Muslim countries from coming here? I mean Trump did say on December 7, 2015 he wanted to put a halt on Muslim immigration into the US. Are we to now think he had a change of heart and didn't mean Muslims just certain countries? Bc for some reason trump doesn't strike me as the person who has a change of heart. Also, there already is a pretty thorough vetting process in place that involves numerous intelligence agencies around the world, certain criteria must be met to be labeled a refugee (why wasn't the ban on refugees only vs even legal residents here already), and the refugee him/her self doesn't get to choose which country they get go to anyway.

It is. I was speaking in context of taking a mass of refugees as opposed to normal immigration numbers. I don't see any problem with Trump attempting to take measures that he believes will make us safer. Remains to be seen if it has any effect but I won't chastise him for making attempts.

The acting attorney general was fired bc she realized the order was wrong and illegal and she stuck to her convictions instead of folding to the pressure. States are going to court about this stuff. I like to deal in facts and reality and not emotion. You characterize this temporary halt of immigration and refugees as a muslim ban which in terms of fact is incorrect. Now you may "feel" that isn't the case but your feelings don't change facts. Any muslim from any other country is not subject to this temporary ban. Muslims are not banned, 7 countries are. A list that was compiled by the Obama administration as being hotbeds of terrorism. God forbid Trump wants to enact his own vetting process. I mean he was elected how dare he change policy.

Again you're mischaracterizing the temporary immigration order as a ban on Muslims. You are suggesting the United States waits until terrorism becomes a bigger problem before reacting. I'm saying Trump is right and we should be proactive in order to prevent the mistakes made by Europe and other countries. It's not here like it is over there and I would like to keep it that way.

Do you really believe she wasn't following orders because she felt it was unconstitutional? Please. It was another political grandstanding move by the left. If she didn't agree with his policy she simply could have resigned considering she was only going to be there for a week more at best. So out of the 350,000 people coming from outside the USA that first day we are saying this immigration ban made less than 200 people be delayed and held extra screening? More people missed their whole flight after being shut out from airports because of the protestors at the airport. In the end he is doing what he campaigned on so this shouldn't be a surprise.
