Quite an interesting study done in elderly obese mice.

An exerpt from the article:
"Typically, when you lose weight, you also lose muscle, and in some circumstances, you can lose a lot of it,” Axelrod said. “In this study, the aged mice increased their muscle mass by an average of 8 percent, their strength by 40 percent, while they lost more than 20 percent of their fat."

Something to keep am eye on for sure. It'll be interesting to see how the research develops.

I also found this article to be an interesting resource that delves further into a few mitochondrial uncouplers and some of the distinctions in effects between them: Therapeutic potential of mitochondrial uncouplers for the treatment of metabolic associated fatty liver disease and NASH

I would be surprised if something like this doesn't show up in the body building scene sometime in the near future. Or at least I am sure someone may try for that sort of use case.

DNP trumps all of these for efficacy (tolerability; safety, perhaps not). But everything works well in old mice bro.
