I recently had spinal surgery because my arms were going numb and much more so for my right. Although I haven’t really used my left in any capacity more than my right arm - it still is approx 1 inch bigger around than my right. Which is quite significant. I lost about 2 inches on my right and 1 inch on my left. Tomorrow I should be given the clear to begin activities again after 3 months of surgery recovery.
My question is how would you go about to fix the atrophy? I would assume isolation workouts would be key, but let’s say I do 10x curls of 20lbs on my right should I do 10x20lbs on my left as well and eventually my right will catch up? Or will the left just continue to get bigger since it already has a bigger base to start from?
