ashwagandha and anxiety, lets talk a little bit

Ashwagandha - 5.5/10 - (I haven't tried the KSM Ashwagandha), a rating of 5.5 generally is good for a herbal supplement. However, it's crucial not to consume it in the morning as it can disrupt your circadian rhythm. I typically take it right after I stop consuming coffee, which is usually by 2 pm. My preferred method is to make it as a tea with a spoon of a raw honey.

The key is to cycle between different herbal adaptogens regularly. There was a phase where I preferred Rhodiola Rosea in pill form, which for me seemed slightly more effective for stress reduction compared to Ashwagandha (6/10).

Now, on occasion, I enjoy kratom tea, adding honey and milk for the ultimate calming experience (different strains of kratom can yield slightly different effects). I should mention that using kratom have a potential for dependence. Personally, I would rate kratom a solid 7/10 for calming benefits. Also, unlike Ashwagandha it seems to have a negative effect on a testosterone, as kratom seems to increase prolactin levels. For me, kratom makes orgasms different (not in a good way).

During periods of heightened stress, I occasionally resort to Phenibut or Kava, though I restrict their use to once every 2 or 3 weeks. Both substances have the potential to lead to tolerance and dependence, and the withdrawal experience can be quite terrible (speaking from personal experience). Phenibut, if used without building a tolerance, is 8.5/10, but it's important to recognize it as a potent drug not supplement.

has a strong effectiveness calming theirself,

I had to stop ash due to an auto-immune response. (It's a nightshade, and some people have reactions to it for that reason.)

I have recently found the benefits of oxytocin, however, and it's amazing for calming & relaxing. My understanding is that it counteracts or dampens cortisol. I've never slept as good as I have the last couple of weeks! And no grogginess in the a.m. like with DSIP. 10/10 recommend.

I like this kind of feeling, but the price Is High and now i bought pregabalin for anxiety, i don't know, i could try it
I live in the EU, and there is a supplement company ostrovit, which has all of these kinds of supplements for 1/5 of the price. Don’t know how they do it, but they work and thats all that matters.

Weird to put kava in the same category as phenibut. It was really as bad for you?

What dose of Oxytocin do you run? I want to give it a try along with some semax and selank.

I think I tried all the nootropics, adaptogens, etc. to try to treat my anxiety, fatigue and low libido. Honestly never got much out of ANY of it. That's what led me to seek out injectable testosterone actually.

I’ve been doing 100mcg every night. I’m also female, so not sure how that would work out for males. I’d be concerned about prostate concerns if I were a male trying that much.

Has anyone had experience cycling on and off of ashwagandha? L-theanine? My plan was to cycle l-theanine for 3 months on, 1 month off. Should I do the same with ashwagandha?

For either, there is no reason to "cycle" unless you are feeling that the drugs are no longer having the same effect, in which case a break to reestablish tolerance could be more beneficial than just taking more.

Regardless, if you really want to, taking for either a couple weeks then taking one week off, or a couple months then one month off seems to be the two most common strategies for "cycling" nootropics. I'd personally go off your perception of the drug working (if your body really does develop a tolerance, but you can't even notice it, does it even matter?)
