I've been scammed by coaches before man.I want to put this into proper perspective.
When I decided to work with a coach, I looked at several options. I ultimately chose this one because of their credentials and experience, and because I had some very clear ambitions. I wasn’t dabbling — I had a real vision of where I wanted to be in 18 months to two years. I knew I was already three years into training, but I figured that with the right guidance, another two years could potentially put me in a position to be stage-ready for a Masters division. I also understood that meant I still needed to add a significant amount of size, and that timeline might be tight — but that was the goal.
Because of that, I made a conscious decision to trust someone on that journey.
Early on, some of the protocols felt aggressive, especially on the drug side. But when you put your trust in a coach, you assume they may know something you don’t — or see the bigger picture differently. So you take it step by step. The results started coming, performance improved, and the blood work, while not perfect, was generally clean. Liver enzymes were a bit elevated, HDL was a little off — but nothing at a dangerous level, and nothing unexpected given the circumstances. That always gave me some reassurance, even if some of the doses felt higher than I would’ve chosen on my own.
Where my concern really started was toward the later stages.
That’s when the question marks began to add up — specifically around AI management and the lack of adjustment despite prolactin being elevated. That part was disappointing. At that point, it felt less like fine-tuning and more like things were being overlooked.
That’s ultimately why I started this thread. I’m not here to bash anyone. I just want to hear what others think, especially from people who’ve been through similar situations or have a deeper understanding of this side of the process.
I appreciate any insight you guys have.
Big achievers with big clients, what could go wrong?
I do powerlifting/strongman so it's very obvious to me based on the training structure who is a retard and who is not.
Turns out it's the clients all along, they're natural freaks and would have been successful with any coach they went with.
The sign of a good coach is how much they can take an average or below average person to something substantial.
Pick those guys, because if you're above average they'll take you to your ceiling.
