Are there still any Bush supporters here?

those who voted for Bushit are to ashamed to admit it. This is the most corrupt and dangerous administration we have ever had. These neo-cons are far from conservative.......

I voted for Bush. I dont think hes done a spectacular job by any means, but I sure as hell would rather have him than Kerry.

Agreed. The idea of small govt and fiscal responsibility has been completely lost on both parties.

would rather have Bush than Gore on the first one..After four years of Bush I honestly think Kerry would be the better pick. To me it was choose the less of the two evils.

Sorry i just give respect because of title. IMO he is a disaster. Who knows what Kerry would have done or where we would be now. Bush doesn't deserve any respect.

I voted for Bush..twice, and I proudly admit that. I agree that he has made many mistakes, but we as a nation and he as a President are walking in unknown territory both literally and figuratively. I don't like his policies with respect to increased spending, but there are many things that he has done that were right and he should be commended for such things. It's very easy to play monday morning quarterback and think of every "what if" scenario, but at the end of the day that gets us no where.

How many countries peoples have had this unquestioning patriotic support for disasterous leaders over the millenniums?
I'm not American but I love and support America,God save us the day America is not longer on top.
So I do support Bush......

You must be talking about Halliburton and their infamous "no-bid" contract. Cheney is a former Halliburton exec so the democrats like to think that we went to war just so Cheney's and Bush's friends could get rich. It's all a bunch of bullshit. Cheney sold 100% of his stock before running for office. He does not get a penny from Halliburton contracts and will not lose a penny should Halliburton go bankrupt.

Bill Clinton gave Halliburton a no-bid contract in the Balkans and in Kosovo. In 1998, under Bill Clintons administration, military contracts awarded to Halliburton more than doubled!!!

Here is something you never hear in the media:

An October 2003 article in the (Raleigh, NC) News & Observer quoted Bill Clinton's Undersecretary Of Commerce William Reinsch as saying "'Halliburton has a distinguished track record,' he said. 'They do business in some 120 countries. This is a group of people who know what they're doing in a difficult business. It's a particularly difficult business when people are shooting at you.'"

As a small business owner, my family and the families of my employees have done very well under his tax cuts. His administration has been very favorable to small business (and I am in a very heavily regulated industry), allowing us to re-invest nearly $4,000,000 to further grow our company. We have been able to provide higher pay raises than we had originally expected.

His tax cuts have allowed for increased tax abatements in our city that have enabled us to start the second phase of our restructuring 2 years earlier.

The working man should benefit when his/her company benefits. If you have a greedy boss who takes the money and runs, then you'll never see it.

Home ownership amongst blacks is at an all time high..even higher than when slick Willy was in office.

Interest rates, until just recently, were at near record lows, enabling many people to purchase a home that they could not afford to do so 10 years ago. Many people were able to purchase multiple homes and either flip them for a profit or rent them out at lower rates. My fiance is a real estate agent, so she has benefited greatly lately in the last few years.

The stock market has hit an all time high as of today and continues to rise. The number of millionaires is at an all time high in the US.

Despite "millions of jobs lost under Bush's watch", many of which were a DIRECT result of 9/11, the unemployment rate now sits at 4.7%, which is actually considered perfect employment. Many people say "that's because fewer people are looking for jobs...they just gave up". That's just hogwash. You can't just quit looking for a job and do nothing. You only have so many years before welfare throws you out.

Now of course, there is an argument for everything here that I just mentioned, but the point I'm trying to make is that things could be much much worse. NO PRESIDENT has ever had to deal with anything even remotely as devastating as 9/11....and given the circumstances, I think Bush deserves a little credit for getting the economy back on track. Many jobs were lost, but many have been "created" since then. Clinton, whom many like to use a basis of comparison for Bush's economic strategies, had a pretty rosy and event-free administration. The biggest thing he had to deal with was Monica...Bush is fighting a perpetual war against people who seek to forever alter our way of life...something Clinton should have at least started.

While i wouldnt call myself a republican or a democrat for that matter i do think people criticize bush a lot more than he needs.Yes hes made mistakes but at the same time i dont think any president of this country ever had to make the kind of decisions he has had to.And armchair quarterbacking is easy for anyone.Although the fact that he is close buddies with the saudi royal family probably hurts his reputation a bit.

What decisions are you talking about, invading Iraq?, allowing torturing of prisoners or defending the dreadful Guantanamu bay prison?

War on Afghanistan - everyone supported him, no questions asked, but the things done afterwards are just plain madness. The subtle ways that his current government follows are just despicable. What annoys me most is that the government says things, and does opposite.

For crying out loud, look at Iraq, it's civil war in there...

Yes I voted for Bush... i do not agree with all of his decisions...40 % of Americans aprove of him this week anyways.I do agree that we need to fight the terrorist's on their soil not ours.I do not think we are killing enough of them though quickly enough.I think we need to step up the military action and be more agressive and flush everyone of those islamic freaks out into the open and blow their heads off..that way we do not have to contain them and torture them !

Get off your high horse Dennis, really, this is getting old.

And why aren't you in Iraq since you seem to be a warrior on the Internet?
