I have always bought older broken cars and fixed them. Motor swaps some put turbo kits on them. I finally came off some money and bought a newer car will post pics here soon. I like v8 4 bangers dont matter. What do you guys drive?

Old reliable slow 7.3 turboed. Obs ls swapped. Polaris atv/utv 800's for the property. Looking for a decent priced 1000 atv. Zoom zoom. old Chevelle in the barn waiting....

Fixed up a younger family members 6.0 2500 this weekend. Boy was riding the death wobble on a done bearing.

Have taken a break for other priorities but cars and bikes my whole life.

Have owned 3 evos, one making 700 wheel, TT 350z, was LS swapping an FD RX7 before I sold to start a business, a cbr600rr, Ducati 848, and gsxr1000rr.

Will be back soon hopefully, preferably on a v8 and probably a Harley. The 4 bangers get too expensive to keep running at high output and I lost all my sportbike buddies to moves and such

Used to have some nice vehicles. This was my current hotrid til someone decided to try and kill me back a couple months ago and run me off the road and crash my ass and ended up being careflighted to a trauma unit. I recovered very quickly though and I attribute most of it to being in great shape and the added benefit of higher test levels.IMG_0989.jpeg

Glad to see there are car enthusiasts in the group. I have been importing cars, wheels and parts from Japan for the past 2 decades but my heart stays with classic domestic muscle.

If that's you in your pfp I'm more surprised you can fit in an Evo lol

It became a challenge but was also years ago lol, definitely won’t fit without a shoehorn now but vettes/mustangs/Camaros aren’t that much better either.
Laughed hard at the shoehorn comment haha. Yeah I can barely fit in my girlfriends piece of shit rav-4. Idk how guys your size would drive anything other than a full size truck lol

Try a Harley on for size before you buy it. I come from a long sport bike background as well but made the move to a Harley. I had the 114 Low Rider S, great looking and sounding. Poured about 12k into it after I bought the bike new. Just kept trying to make it fast and nimble. 2into1 exhaust, larger intake, tuner, dyno tuned, lifters, cams, head porting, S&S cam plate, S&S oil pump, chain conversion kit, Barnett clutch and basket, ohlins front and rear suspension. Pretty much everything besides going to a larger displacement engine.

Anyway, I sold it all at a substantial loss just so I could get rid of it and buy a hyper naked. It’s a sport bike for the guy that doesn’t want to be uncomfortable for the whole ride. Tons of power, huge grin factor, comfort, and I think they look pretty gnarly. Starting to take off here in the states. Almost every mainstream mfg makes one now.

Just thought I’d give a fellow ex-sport bike guy my opinion. Maybe you won’t need to make the same mistake. Loved the Harley but it just didn’t fit my riding style.

I borrowed a buddy’s custom dyna for a day and loved it. Granted I missed every bit of sportbike performance it didn’t have but I’m almost ashamed to say I really enjoyed the ride, for very different reasons.

Nothing to be ashamed of man. I really dig Harleys. People change over time, maybe you just graduated, that’s all. Plus if you got the coin, you can have both!

If I still had my Harley I would definitely take it out for some nice cruises down by the coastline on some nice nights. I just couldn’t justify keeping it for maybe a couple rides a month. I ride the other one everywhere when the weather cooperates.

If you have a lady, they prefer the Harley passenger seat and ride a lot better too. Tough being a backpack on a sport bike.
