Does anyone have any accounts of traveling domestically with gear and getting scrutinized?

If you’re traveling with a single tiny vial of clear liquid, I genuinely don’t think you have much to be concerned about. I would even go so far as to say take it in your carry-on in a medicine canister or other small accessory typically used for traveling with medication and actually declare it when going through check-in. If you say you have medicine, they aren’t going to go asking a bunch of questions. People travel with medication all the time.

Or just throw it in your toiletry bag without any label. Why would anyone care about a little vial of oil in your toiletry bag.

If it gives you piece of mind, print a fake script and buy from a vendor that has labeling that looks like legit pharma - there are a few of them.

my brother works TSA and told me they don’t give a shit about drugs. Weapons and explosives is all they look for so even if you are getting swabbed is to make sure it’s not boom boom liquid. This advice is for domestic travel only

Even if it's unnecessary or easy for me to go to a clinic and get a real script- I just don't care enough to do it and get bloods or any of that shit because I'm traveling just once internationally, this one single time, and need literally this one time in my life as I won't travel internationally again (or within the next couple years). I don't care about if it's pointless or low risk of being caught- I'm travelling internationally, I have some money to spare, and I'd rather not think about this at all. That's all. So if anyone can help me out, I'll reward you.
