Any gamers here?

Just to add to the thread

If you like firearms in real life, have to much time and hate yourself, check out Escape from Tarkov, has some really cool gun customization and mechanics.

Another cool realistic type of shooter is Ready or Not, basically swat simulator, a lot more fun with friends.

Dayz Gone was a really fun post apocalyptic zombie game , a little long but very atmospheric.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is another cool game set in the wild west, great story but again a longer game.

If you like fantasy games more, Divinity Original Sin 2 is great, these types of games where never my cup of tea but turned out to be super fun and can play with a friend.

Another interesting fantasy game is Grim Dawn, kinda like the Diablo games.

Valheim and V rising are both interesting games to play with a friend also, you build a base and craft items to fight bosses and unlock new items to craft. Fun way to relax and waste some time with a buddy.

I just stumbled upon this post and I have to say, it's great to see so many people from different parts of the world sharing their love for gaming and music. I'd love to hear more stories that involve older music. Perhaps there were musicians in your family?

Did someone try Atomic Heart already?
the word "awesome" is not enough to explain this experience last time I was so impressed when I played Farcry

At this point It's just a torture waiting for Phantom Liberty... Hopefully the long wait will be worth it.

On a side note, I just finished Hogwarts Legacy and I gotta say that it did not disappoint, cool game.

I had someone else say it was a good game too and it looks good. I got a PS5 recently because my back issue makes it hard to sit and game at my PC (gotta hook it up to my TV at some point soon).

I have been playing Horizon Forbidden West. It's fine--they made the game too big to be honest. I usually just explore for like an hour then I'm bored of it. Normally I am ALL about super long games that I can play slowly for several months (Skyrim, Fallout, Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Sekiro wasn't that long but the difficulty made it take forever)

Harry Potter is on my list. Just gotta decide PS5 or PC. It looks like NexusMods has some pretty good mods for HP Legacy so I may go PC...I hate not being able to mod games, I at least want a reshade on there to make it look prettier.

I also play on PS5, the game itself is really nice and it has a really big map that you can explore at full, it took me around 3 weeks to complete the main story as I usually never play more than 1 hour a day.

To give you an idea, after completing the main story and a good amount of secondary tasks I'm still only at 50%.

So yeah, if you're looking for a long lasting game I'd say this would be the right choice imo.

Nice! I do like the PS5 although it really its compute and rendering power being leveraged/challenged by any game AFAIK. I can mod out Skyrim with textures, overhauls, etc., and get a game that looks absolutely equally as good as HZD (which I did in like 2020 or so? Had fun playing it again after a many years gap). Unless I am REALLY into a game, I play once a week maybe it just is a nice break sometimes, especially if it's raining out...

Now once TES6 comes out y'all probably won't see me around for a good 6 months again...maybe more lol. I'll be coming back at 25% body fat desperate to lose all that Elder Scrolls weight again :D

Don't game much , but do enjoy it. I usually can sneak in an hour or two a week , and takes me a few months to beat a new game.
Currently on the RE4 remake. Haven't played it since the original GameCube release. Really enjoying it and it works perfect for my 1-2 hour at a time play sessions.

Do not have much time for games these days.
But games have always been in my heart.
Rocking some FPS games on PS5.
Warzone and APEX currently, when I'm bored I'll do some farming type of games like No Man's Sky or Diablo III.

What are yall playing on PS5/PS4? I got a PS5 in December and all I have is Horizon Forbidden West, which is fun but repetitive and I need something else. I'm not a big FPS or multiplayer fan--I prefer single player RPGs and stuff. I've already played a lot of the good games on PC but was looking at:
- Final Fantasy 7
- God of War Ragnarok
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Demon's Souls
- Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart might be fun, I liked those games when I was younger

I've already played Witcher 3, AC Valhalla, and Elden Ring on PC, so not trying to buy them a second time on PS5. I tried Ghost of Tsushima but couldn't get into it, it feels clunky.

Not trying to game a bunch just something to spend an hour here or there playing in the evening. Spending more time biking and hiking, lifting, and learning piano.

Is Hogwarts Legacy something you can pick up and put down real easy? Or do you really wanna play to be in the story more? @DeXXXLarge any thoughts?

Anyone played FF7? Barrett's voice seems super annoying but I feel like it's worth a shot, I LOVED that game when I was a kid. Probably played it through at least 4 times...

Edit: The Last of Us part 1 maybe would be good? Never played it, never watched the show. It looks gorgeous though.

Id love to play with some lifting lads!!!!

Im super into PC, lots of tarkov, counter strike, league.... etc

you name it Ive probably got it lets kick it :)

You DO NOT want to play with OP. Trust me on that one.

That guy would end up wanting to fight you in person and the entire time you are playing he would cuss you out and tell you how great he is and how awful you are.

I actually bought PS3 only for The Last of Us. Then bought PS4 only for The Last of Us 2. Thinking if The Last of Us 3 would be coming out for PS5 or PS6 now hahaha. This game series is one of the best stories I have ever played.

To me it gave me kind of an itch to keep on playing, then again, playing only 1h a day when I do have time, the game felt almost never ending to me and that made it much more appealing to my tastes.

I definitely liked the story itself, I'd say that if you like the Harry Potter saga then Hogwarts Legacy might definitely be a great choice, especially considering you said you're into single player RPGs.

Great game to spend some free time, then my GF loves it so it is a plus!

Cheers man!
