Any gamers here?

Steam is having a hell of a fall sale again this year! Definitely worth checking out.

I finally went and bought CyberPunk 2077. It is half off, only $30. I figure at that price I don't give a shit if it gest buggy. It does seem like a lot of the things have been fixed and I'm still not even sure if I will even like the game or not, but I figure I might a well try it out.

If you didn't play Outer Worlds, that is on sale for $20. If you like the Fallout games then you'll like this. It is short though, too short IMO. I wanted a 60+ hour game and even doing all the side quests and everything this was like 20 hours TOPS. That is with a ton of running around looting everything and messing with mods exploring and shit. So 20 bucks is a MUCH more fair price, it was not worth 60 at all.

Half Life Alyx is on sale for cheap too, along with all the other half life games (I love them, especially all modded out HL2 actually looks really beautiful). I was super impressed with Black Mesa (which is a remake of the original Half Life, only $8 right now and TOTALLY worth it, that was a FUN game)

Don't fall for the Far Cry 5 and what not sales. The new Far Cry games suck balls. Far Cry 4 (which is also on sale, but like 6 years old at this point) was legit, but every one after that has been complete and utter garbage.

Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom, which is normally $800 (yes, eight HUNDRED dollars) is now on sale for just $9.89!!!! /sarcasm

Red Dead Redemption 2 is on sale for $30. Fucking great game. Absolutely beautiful, especially with a custom reshade on it.

Horizon Zero Dawn is also on sale and I had ZERO issues with it on PC. Ran a reshade and it was just a gorgeous game, lots of fun and the story was interesting. If you have older hardware though you might have issues.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a fucking masterpiece i finished it last year and now i’m replaying it again bc there’s so many things i didn’t finish playing as Arthur Morgan as far as the side mission goes and the random encounters with NPC’s.

I’m a console gamer but i hope Ghost of Tsushima makes it’s debut for PC it’s such a well built game with a good story and top tier graphics, It’s a shame Last of Us 2 won GOTY given that it had so much controversy after it’s release.

I don’t think Cyberpunk is ever going to get fixed no matter how many updates and patches the developers release to the community..almost 10 years of hype built on just for CD Projeckt not delivering what was promised.

Dude I wish SO badly Ghost of Tsushima would port to PC. Am I right in thinking it basically looks like RDR2, but at in feudal Japan?? Because fuck it looks beautiful and amazing.

Yeah, well think about the fact that The Witcher 3 also had INSANE problems at launch too, and they took a long ass time to fix them. CDPR just isn't a big enough team to tackle so much at once. I think eventually it'll be good, but if not I don't really care, I'll probably pay it for a bit then this winter just abandon it when done of my more anticipated games come out. 30 bucks though? fuck it. Might as well try.

Yes and no. It lacks the random encounters you would usually see from NPC’s in RDR2 but considering that the game takes place in Tsushima island in the year 1274 around the time where the 1st mongol invasion happened it makes sense on why it could be a little bland but overall the mechanics for the game really makes you feel like you’re a samurai/ninja…if anything the game feels more like a assasins creed.

I have been heavy into apex legends as well as monster hunter world: iceborne

Monster hunter isnt super well known in the western world, but monster hunter world was their first attempt at a "triple A" game marketed more for English speakers and such, big recommend if you like using massive weapons to bonk big monsters around. It's also coop (4 player online) but I have yet to find a group to play with so I play solo, it's still super fun. It's probably on sale for black Friday as well

Also just finished another play through of Bloodborne and was thinking maybe do a fresh play through of darks souls 3
I downloaded Bloodborne I believe when PS plus had it, I'm looking forward to diving into it when I have the time.

I did try it out just to get a feel for it and I think it'll be a fun one. I got to the point where I defeated the first boss but it's been so long I will definitely start it over.

It's super fun but also can be pretty challenging. The lore is also really interesting albeit not explained very well

Yeah the one thing I remember about it was the challenge. For only getting to the point I did, it took me quite a while just to get that far.

But that can be part of the fun, as long as it isn't crushingly difficult. I love the environment and got a taste of the upgrading and such, so I think I'll dig it.

Just remember there is 0 shame in charging past every enemy to the boss fight if you have already fought your way through them once, also keep an eye out for short cuts, they are a big part of soulsborne game design

You’re the only other person I’ve ever heard of playing HZD. It’s legitimately one of my favorite games of all time and I can’t wait for HFW.

lets see how old you guys really are, any true OG will like this one

I have the original and I'm also looking forward to the new one. It's going to look amazing on PS5 and OLED.
