Anavar fixed my acne

This is a case that’s been confusing me forever so I’ll start with some back story. Mid 20’s I ran my second cycle of 400 test 400 tren 50 mg anavar with aromasin. I was young, dumb, and doing whatever. No crazy sides on cycle , but coming off cycle I experienced horrific cystic chest acne that I’d never experienced before. I’ve always had good skin so this was kind of a shock. The worst of it lasted about 3 years (yes, years). With proper skincare I can manage it ok now, but it always seems to pop back up—ongoing for about 5-6 years.

pulled labs after a full recovery from this cycle—test in normal range but my baseline e2 was (and remained) 19. No other baseline to judge this off of (since I was young and dumb) but definitely on the lower end. All other markers in range besides a somewhat high free T (120ish).

Fast forward to recently, I ran a cycle of 300 test and 25 mg anavar over the summer. Within DAYS my chest was crystal clear. I couldn’t believe it. Could the 25mg of anavar have cured me? Was it the extra aromatic action from the test? No outbreaks, even chilling on the skincare routine I had in place. I was so excited to finally have clear skin. I ran the anavar for about 8 weeks to kick the cycle off. Shortly after pulling the anavar, the acne started to creep back in. Dropped down to a 200 mg cruise a handful of months later and acne came back strong as ever. Trying really hard to understand what’s going on with my body. Going from clear skin to chronic chest acne sucks. Any insights or recommendations welcome.

I don't have direct experience with anavar but I would probably look to other factors

Androgens can cause oily skin and higher estrogen an cause acne....

How did your food change while you were on anavar? Maybe thats part of it.

What was your environment like during the summer? Were you somewhere other than home most of the time?

Same soaps, moisturizers.... ?

With all of that said- have you ever tried Retin-A for acne?

Could have something to do with Oxandrolone having lower androgenic activity than DHT in the skin and competing with it to bind to androgen receptors in sebaceous glands.

Every one can have different responses to compounds. Makes my acne worse. So who knows.

Regardless of what you do, any time you fuck with your endocrine system can result in acne. You can try the creams and BP body wash to see if that helps. Many guys end up having to use accutane to clear it up, including my self.
