It was Triedia. I met Hogg or maybe MaxRep on Triedia and he invited me over here. (I can't even remember as it's been close to 25 years)
Yeah, OLM is still around but has a lot less traffic in the posting department.
Good to see you Desi. I remember flipping you some shit back in the day when you were a really young pup. Lol
Glad to see you remained active. I fall off and on the board activity wagon depending on what's going on with work, the wife and the kids.
Been seriously toying with the idea of coming out of retirement and doing a Strongman show.. In the masters category though.
It's kinda funny that I've been calling promotors asking if they have a master's division in their upcoming shows.
The thing I remember most about shows with Master's divisions was how none of the crowd other than family members filtered over to watch them compete. I guess that's me now... only competing in front of family and friends.
How about you? What have you been up to these days?

I’m an almost 40 year old now retired guy who works in the tech industry part time 25 hours a week mainly for the health insurance.
I didn't do the typical “Get married, settle down and have kids” thing so financially I was able to get out of the rat race faster than my friends and family members who are stuck in a 30 year mortgage, thinking about how to pay for their kids college and in credit card debt and student loans.
I realize now I had really shitty genetics for bodybuilding or powerlifting but that work ethic I learnt helped me so much when I got into automotive and real estate sales and there is no way I would be where I am right now if I didn’t have the support you guys gave me.
