Ah, why the hell not meet prep log

You train you squat only once a week?
You have a huge bench aybara and you, do you think that the lats are the most importantER muscles involved while benching ( like what julius maddox said)?

Last point, your goodmornings is outstanding waw. Otherwise, is there a real benefit doing them?

Squats are actually twice a week. Normally following deadlifts I'll have a squat variation. Lately it's been Zombie Front Squats. But with my lat getting a little jack up, I couldn't hold that position comfortably, so I opted for pit shark.

If you're benching like a powerlifter, yes the lats are CRUCIAL. Your whole upper back is. I wouldnt say lats are the most important, but they are super important. That is also dependent upon bodyweight. Heavier you are, the more you can use your lats. Lighter you are you can not use them as much.

My posterior chain is just super strong. I genetically am gifted there for sure. Most people can not good morning over 315. I think they are absolutely beneficial. Especially if you are someone who deadlifts make them super fatigued overtime or just wear them down faster than squats. I would sun out some deadlift volume for good morning volume in a heart beat. To me, it's the most underused and underrated assistance lift in today's powerlifting world.
