Personally i just dump all liquids in first then raws last
Overtime you'll have your own preference on how to do things
205c needed for benzyl alcohol to evaporate at a significant speed

as long as you're not brewing the same ba for 20 days over or using 500c for your brew its better to add ba in start for sterility

Brewed a trial vial of TNE 50 with MCT last night. Wasn’t able to dissolve raws at all when I put it in liquids which did not surprise me.

It did dissolve after I melted the raw first for 2 mins with the warmed liquids after. It is starting to recrystallize this morning as expected… was hoping to avoid EO, but what advice would y'all have for keeping TNE dissolved in solution?

Put the measured bb in your beaker then your raws in the same beaker as your bb . Slowly heat and stir .

While it’s melting you want your measured amount of oil heating also in a separate beaker .

Once the raws are fully dissolved. Then slowly add your oil and stir till you see no more swirls . It’s actually pretty important that there are close to the same temperature when mixing them.

Then remove beaker from any heat source.

Then add in your measured ba . Then stir till there are no more swirls .

Do it this way and your ba will not evaporate or get damaged from heat. You need it to keep no bacteria growth so you don’t get abscesses .

Now to help with filtering , if you have the time to filter it right away while the oil is still warm, it helps speed up the process.
i bought the exact hot plate with mag stirrer from the recommended homebrew shopping list, so i have the ability to control temp accurately damn thing was almost 200$ it better be accurate. also invested in a nice vacuum pump and lab stand setup for filtering into pre-sterile vials. since its only for personal use it doesnt matter to me if i flip the tops off already, i already know what ima put inside hehe. id be willing to learn the temps and all that, but since im a few weeks out i dont mind waiting and then revisiting in the homebrew section. that said i do appreciate the advice.

Only time I don't add BA 1st and do it last is withTren A, otherwise dump the raws in a beaker add BA add BB and then turn on the spinner and heat. Add warm oil to dissolved raws and spin more.

I leave it on 120F to 130F to stay warm during the filtration process on large batches which is all the time for me.

All this rocket science is pretty funny don't you think? LOL.

What’s a lab stand setup consist of? Interested for exact same scenario for self brewing.

Man reading some of these ppl description on how they brew make me laugh hysterically.

Warm this, while you warm in another container this then you add that to this and then you warm the other thing, all at the same temperature, add that, no more swirl? OK add that one too bla bla. Bla.

What the fuck?
Are you all wrong in the head?

BA doesn't evaporate at the temperature we use, it doesn't even get close to the fume temperature.

Have you ever used Google?

I guess not.

Just dump everything in the beaker warm and stir. Job done.

There is no based science logic behind the crap I have just read in the last two pages. At best one could leave the carrier oil outside before the raw are dissolved properly just for complicated substances so you avoid to keep the carrier oil at XX temperarure for a long time.

Except for that, God damn stop complicating something that is not complicated.

They do the beaker to beaker dance but don't test their raws. Brilliant

Damn, Venom coming in hot

Right?

Right?

Hurts my head as well, it's not that hard, I just don't like adding carrier in until raws dissolve in the BB and BA because when making large batches of stuff like Test C it can take so much longer. Melt then add warm oil and homogenize. Only reason I warm the oil is so it all stays warm enough to filter, some can't even figure out that part either.

I wish vendors would just start only providing to those that can rather than those that waste what's hardly there.

I'm almost done reading this shit and can't help in other threads because as a subscriber I don't have the privileged lol.

meh im willing to hear out anyone on what they do but i wont pretend i know anything. that said when i get close to the last few items i need to brew, ill start a thread or piggyback an existing thread for any questions
