Yury pulled 907 by the way. Ed coans record was 903
Also @colossus25 while Cailer pulling that is nothing short of impressive. Yury and Coan did both in a Full Power meet. Cailers' was a gym lift. not taking anything away from him at all. But, Full meet and gym lifts are two seperate things, especially for deadlifts.

edit.. also @franchise24 he uses Hook Grip not double overhand. i dont think ive seen anyone pull over 700 double overhand. shit is hard as hell!

Thats why i asked if he was competing anytime soon he should if he's pulling like that. I use double over hand but over 650 i do use grip straps.
 
I've pulled over 600lbs at two full power meets and never done that in the gym, but I've far exceeded my meet PRs on squat and bench in the gym. I feel my absolute strongest on deadlift up on the platform for my third attempt after doing squat and bench earlier in tr day. No feeling like it and I've never missed a deadlift attempt at a meet either.

If i could lift the most weight? Yeah, wouldn't bother me.

Obviously yeah everyone wants to look good, but at the end of the day the guy who lifts the most weight is the winner in my book.

Goddam its hard to wrap my head around that...
 
I just count on being strong making me look like I lift and so far I'm happy with that. I'm not a huge guy, but I'm not interested in being huge anyway.

Haha yeah, i mean obviously i wouldn't purposefully train specifically to look like that,but im trying to get strong, whatever i end up lookin like is what i end up lookin like lol
