6 week cycles better?

Recently read this interesting study: Six-week improvements in muscle mass and strength during androgen therapy in older men - PubMed

A key takeaway was that over 90% of LBM increase was in the first 6 weeks.
I can see some reasons why such as the LBM increasing being mostly water. But as far as I know, most AASs procure muscle mass at a similar rate through MPS so would this mean that running a 6 week cycle after full saturation in you blood would give around the same as a 12 week cycle while minimizing risk massively by the lessened exposure time.
This also aligns with the plateau that occurs on cycle around that time and why people tend to switch out compounds or pound orals.

Just looking for more opinions around this :)

No. If that was the case, we'd see all professional physique athletes use this kind of setup.

Taeian clark was a fan of this, still is afaik, biut ive never seen any serious big guys building a physique using something like this.

building muscle is a longterm process, longer is better.

longer and slower as broderick chavez says.

Use steroids once and you'll realise how dumb this is.
The plateau does happen, which can be managed with upping calories etc, however progress still won’t continue at the same rate.

The size lost after a cycle is mostly water and glycogen with most actual muscle mass being retained if on a blast and cruise protocol. Prime example of this would be influencers like MPD and even Olympians like Cbum who can maintain most of their mass on “trt” doses of test. I realise maintaining a physique is much easier than building one, however do not see why shorter cycles would be less effective.

Try it out and let us know how it works out for you compared to longer cycles of 16-24 weeks.

studies on aas is flawed in the way they never track second cycle, third cycle etc.

the longest aas studies ive seen is 1 cycle at 20-24 weeks.

yes you will have unimaginable gains on your first cycle, no it will not continue whether you do 6 week cycles or 52 week cycles from onward.

you're watcing too much youtube or whatever and have too little experience

Sorry I have to block you before I lose any more IQ

It's very obvious you've never touched drugs before.

Pound orals? Add compounds? Wtaf are you talking about. That isn't atypical of what people do at all.

Stop sucking off influencers and do some actually reading yourself.

Currently in the back half of my first cycle. Not sure if mental or my training just started getting dialed in but I really started feeling it hitting in week 7.

You're not even fully saturated till week 4. Have fun with your 2 week cycle.
Depends on the compound, test p or a you’ll be at full saturation in a weekIMG_1491.webp

I also said 6 weeks after saturation in the original post (as they would have reached saturation very fast) But again this is just a hypothetical question I was curious about. No need to get your knickers in a twist ;)

Bro as a fellow nerd you will final realise you can't science your way to getting jacked.

It takes years of hard training, rigid dieting and abusing drugs.

No amount of rumination will get you jacked.

There is a reason why there is an inverse correlation between intelligence and bicep size.

Being smart will only give you excessive confidence and you'll end up doing something stupid because you are ignoring the practical realities for some kind of perfect theoretical model.

TLDR: most guys have only done one steroid cycle (it just lasted several years)

Academic studies are great but often have a limited scope.

A lot of the gym bro knowledge that has been passed down is ridiculous but nowadays there’s a ton of good info.

Cycle length is one topic most reasonable people roughly agree on - I’d say this subject is kind of settled until new AAS come into play with different effect times.
