4LC Contest Prep (off cycle)

When does your prep start 4LC? Curious on what supps will look like........
I can share both of my pre-contest (cut cycles) dosages if you like. I also have one more bulk cycle that I can share, if you are interested in those dosages as well.


The other day (Sat) was delts and a bit of trap work. I went heavy for the final set of traps, but beyond that, still focusing on the squeeze and negatives. My tendon issue in my left hand has been healing nicely, and the goal is to have it @ 100% by Jan so I can begin to lift heavy again in my next cycle.

Seated dumbbell shoulder press 1 WU set, 4 working sets 100lbs, 10 reps
side lateral raise, 4 sets, 17.5 lbs each hand, 10 reps
Front dumbbell raise, 3 sets, 17.5 lbs each hand, 10 reps
seated bent over rear delt rows 4 sets, 17.5 lbs each hand, 10 reps
cable rear delt fly 4 sets 72 lbs, 10 reps
standing low pulley delt raise 7 sets, 20lbs 10 reps, 30 sec rest between sets (FST7)
leverage shrugs 1 WU 4 working sets, WU 90lbs, set 1; 140lbs, set 2-3; 230lbs, set 4; 320lbs
all were 10 reps, except the last set, went 8.

An issue I have been combating is trying to keep my gains while not adding too much fat. Well the last month since Turkey day have been difficult, I am working out enough but my lack of cardio and poor food over the holidays has resulted in another 1% of fat and some bloat that I am dealing with this week. Planning my cycles for the next year has taken on a whole new approach, trying to maximize my down time, while not having so much downtime as to regress, since I don't use HGH at this point. I will do 2 cycles next year, with 1.5-2mo breaks, and they are lined up so I can compete in the later half of the season.

Great log. Why do you switch to sust at the end? Ho long do you have to wait to start pct- 4 weeks?
 
Was wondering the same^^ why the long esters and whats the benefit as well as dosing protocols for a gram a week? 500 mills 2 xs or 200mills 5 xs week? Thx

Because it's very hard to pin 1g of test P, even pinning 800mg of test p is a pain, literally. I'm a firm believer in switching esters and substances often in the cycle to increase growth. Every pro I have talked to does this, as well as the two coaches (for body building) that I have consulted with.

For my PCT, I run 2k HCG e3d, until 10k is out, so roughly two and a half weeks. The last week of injections (either week 16 or 17) I will taper down the sust to 500-600/wk and won't run npp that week. Then begin nolva/clomid dosing.

For dosing protocol, its EOD, 250mg. On the weeks, where it falls on Saturday, I double the dose that day.

My current coach feels that more frequent injections of the longer esters is easier to maintain larger doses than ED injections of the shorter esters (as it pertains to test).

Cut #2 is more drastic than the #1, and would be chosen for hopefully obvious reasons (as needed).
 
My cycle is starting a few weeks early, since I am aiming for a specific time frame for a show in the later half of the new year.

I will either start end of next week or the following week.

I have already started my prep, which consists of proviron and HCG for the next week or two.

My wrist has healed to about 90%, I have full range of motion in it again, which is nice. But on some movements (like bench) I need a wrist wrap when I go heavy.

My biggest lesson from my down time in this off season has been to plan better for next years holidays. I really fucked up my diet in-between ThanksGiving and Xmas. This is the first year since retiring from boxing that I allowed myself to have sweets, and I went to far overboard. I liken it to being stranded on an island for 10 years, then being dropped off in a candy store... it didn't end well...

For penance, I have extra cardio to do during my bulk, which I will thoroughly hate...
