39M TRT advice

Posted my labs in the new member and serum testing sub forum. Didn’t really get any feed back, so I’m posting here. Was thinking of 150-200mg test/weekly. I am 5’8 235 lbs. currently on tirzepatide with great results so far. I have run 3 cycles about 15 years ago but obviously I want to get my bf down to 10-12% before any blast. I’d like to get to 180 lbs as my goal weight. I am currently eating 1800 calories daily and diet is locked in. Any feedback appreciated.

Your numbers look almost identical to mine before I did my first cycle. Where's your lipids?

I started at 500 mg because I didn't know any better. If I could go back I would start at 250 and titrate up as I plateaued. You can run a much longer cycle that way.

But ya, get lean first.

Not terrible but if that LDL is you off cycle I'd look into lowering it a bit more. With crushed HDL, lowering LDL becomes much more important.

150 - 200 mgs/wk is generally pretty high for TRT, especially at your body fat percentage. At 5'8" and 235, you're probably in the high 20s/low 30s. All of that adipose tissue on that dose will cause you to aromatize pretty heavily. You have quite a way to go to reach 12% body fat, which at your height and cycle history is honestly probably more in the 165 range or even lower.

I'd start with 100mgs and focus on dropping weight over the next year or two, then titrate up or blast occasionally if you like. My general opinion is that somewhere around 100 is best for balancing results and long-term sustainability. 150-200 is likely to produce more side effects for you, especially with where you are now, and not actually be much more effective in reaching your goals than 100 would be.

Hope that helps!
