Ok they lost what was basically like a pickup game 2 years ago lol...regardless that don’t change the fact that men suck hairy stinky ballz here. Probably one reason I could never get into soccer..
The reason for the giant gap is related to inequality on the global scale, NOT in the US.
The US is one of the few countries where women play as a profession vs a side gig. Their full time commitment is the sport.
The men don’t have that edge. Because the majority of the world sponsors their men’s teams.

Other countries men’s teams don’t have this “edge” either yet they can play. The men will continue to suck if they excuse their awful play.
Other countries farm men’s teams from age 8 and don’t lose them to football, baseball, or basketball....
It’s insurmountable in the foreseeable future.
