My Dr writes the script for 1 10 ml vial. Pharmacies walmart, costco, cvs, walgreens as well as smaller ones started switching to giving me 10 1 ml vials years ago.
Usually for the same price although that is starting to change, with higher prices being more the standard when paying out of pocket.
Manufacturers came out with a statement a few years ago recommending against multi use vials. I used to argue to get the 10 ml vial and would wait for it to show up but i don't any more as i can see them being phased out.
For a few years pharmacies would only give me 2 1ml vials per month(28 days actually) when i got them though my insurance. Till i pointed out that they were single use vials. Then they started giving me 4 vials a month.
Although i know they were still only giving others 2 vials a month.
But that is a good businesses plan as i told them as it gets more people to come into the store more often so they are liable to spend more money.
