Hello, everyone. New member here. I've been into strength training for more years than I care to remember. I've been on a few other boards over the years but I'm tired of the bs that goes on with the hidden agendas and shady practices as well as a lack of free speach and liberal use of the ban button.

I lurked here for a while before I decided to join, but I'm convinced this is the most honest forum on the net and it's something that is desperately needed. I was always a fan of the old usenet group misc.fitness.weights, especially it's brutal honesty. I still believe in that model and I'm delighted to see it still exists here with members giving honest opinions about sources without the worry of getting banned -- which is, unfortunately, all too common on other boards.

Millard, you've put together a great forum and it's nice to see you have some real experts here.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello. I don't post much, but I'll jump in if I think I have something useful to contribute.

Honesty is why I stay here as well.

I can't stand being a part of all the scamming that goes on.

Unfortunately I was scammed as my introduction into AAS via internet. Then I found MESO, and haven't been scammed since.

The ONLY truly uncensored board.

Gotta say....I luv that avatar CBS (CensoredBoardsSuck)

Thanks. Your avatar isn't too shabby either. Definately not something you'd wan't to spend too much time looking at during the first two weeks of a test prop cycle, though.

Thank you for the compliments on the forum!

You have been around a long time to remember the misc.fitness.weights wars! Those were the days - Dan Duchaine, Bill Roberts, Rob Schuh, Patrick Arnold, Jerry Brainum, Will Brink, Bruce Kneller et al

Those were the days! Some epic flame wars there, for sure. I heard Rob Schuh died recently? He wasn't well for years and kind of disappeared to do drumming, I think. Sad to hear, if true.

what are your experiences here over the past 10 years? what changed? what new did you learn that surfaced since?
last time i checked bb boards was abt the time of your introduction and maan so many things changed, mainly what i see is that bro science is being replaced by real science (many times applied incorrectly or making bad conclusions :D)
