I am 15 5'6 and 135lbs i am eating healthier and not drinking any calories and take more protein than fat. I am not in ideal shape but not overweight either, I have some fat around my ab region which I am trying to get rid of. Will running, ab exercises, and weights give me a toned body which has muscle. I rally don't want to be scrawny I rather build muscle mass and be toned.

tell us what gym equipment you have available to you
i would think a 3 on 1 off split would be a decent routine for a young man
like you ..
this means you split your body parts up into 3 seperate workouts then take a day off
example and it can be broken up several ways

day 1 chest and shoulder excercise
2 back and bicep
3 legs
4 off day
repeat
throw in a couple days of cardio and ab training
your at a great age for transforming your body and i commend you
learn a little about nutrition ... increase your protien intake

this is just the tip of the iceberg .. we cant type everything there is a lot to learn
and there are a lot of different schools of thought on training i would recomend
you do some experimenting and trial and error .. dont believe everything you see and
hear at the gym .. good luck

while i dont agree with all the authors ideas i do think if you went to the library
and found a copy of "body for life" it is a good place to start
other books are probably as good hopefully others will chime in

Stick to a basic 4 day per week split and focus on heavy compound movements with good form. Work in the 8-12 rep range and focus on the negative part of the motion.

Good advice, maybe different splits though. I don't like doing chest and shoulders together because I feel like it might be tough on the shoulder joints. I usually do chest and back together and bi's and tri's together, push pull supersets.

Advice only

Stop thinking about loosing weight.... Just eat clean, eat ALOT, and lift heavy weights (with good form)! And you'll take off....... 15 the world is yours
