About Me
Age: 20
Sex: Male
Medical History:
ADD
--Took Ritalin for 13 years. Recently stopped treatment due to anxiety and zombie-like feelings.
--Switched to Vyvanse for 2 months. No feelings of anxiety but an extremely spacey feeling started.
--Switched off of stims completely in the past month and never have felt more connected to myself. ****ing dying from the lack of dopamine and motivation, though

Severe Hyperhidrosis of the hands, feet, and underarms
--Have received Botox treatments in the underarms
--Use an iontophoresis machine for the hands and feet (its a *****)

Have had a bit of erectile dysfunction lately. Not shocking, though (look at my test results)

Also, in the past month, I have stopped stimulant therapy for the first time in 13 years to good results except that my dopamine and drive are at an all time low. I actually find this tolerable since I am no longer consistently anxious or emotionally detached everyday. I hope, in the next few months and in combination with TRT, my dopamine situation will improve. I'm going to start taking Tyrosine soon because my dopamine is low low low, though.

Pertinent Medical Information
-I had a bad experience supplementing for my CoQ10 deficiency with:
CoQ10 60mg
ALA 50mg
Red Wine Proanthocyanidins 5mg
This supplement made me very spacey and tired/depressed. This confounds me since I am CoQ10 deficient.

-I believe Ritalin caused my high cortisol test results. Ritalin often kept me very highly functioning mentally and always on edge. Since stopping Ritalin treatment, I have been able to relax and not worry every hour of the day for the first time in years.

Current Supplementation Protocol (what I take every morning)
Douglas Labs Ultra Preventive X (includes amounts of copper and antioxidants): http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/7489/ingredstk1.gif
GUNA Male: http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/8745/gunarp7.jpg

And starting the following protocol next week:
Calcium D-glucarate - 500mg 2x daily
DIM - 75mg 2x daily
TMG - 750mg

Reasoning for above protocol:
Force estrogen metabolism, shut down the negative feedback loop, boost testosterone. Attempting to do this all naturally since I'm only 20 and hoping to avoid having to start a lifetime of injectible therapy already.

Test Results Coming Soon...

Re: My ENTIRE Health Profile Centithread - 57 Test Results, Medical History, Everythi

In a nut shell your testosterone is shit ass low and needs to be addressed with HCG or clomid. Dr should implement trial of hcg for 2 weeks of 500 ius 3 times a week then retest then adjust accordingly. Your estrogen are low in relationship to your low testosterone. As your testosterone increaes your e2 should also go up.. Yes your adrenals are slightly out of balance according to the rheins test, but not horrible. Prtocol should be slight adrenal support with a proper vitamin C and some adrenal modualators to bring things back into balance. No matter how much you support adrenals it will not solve the testosterone defiency which does not need to be addressed. Your dhea in urine is elevated over 24 hours because the body in younger people crank out dhea in order to compensate for lack of testosterone. It can also be related to the genetics, and also your body still flushing out the ritalin. It really depends on how long that needs to clear out of the cell membranese. To repair cellular imbalances takes up to 4-6 months and thatns not a guarranted. The progesterone being elevated is because you are 20 years old and are still making alot of pregnenolone which this obviously reflective by the (PD). 5 reductase is working very well. There is a specific formula which is used to determine adrenal fatigue and talking to Dr of the lab he agreed that there is a slight adrenal imbalance going on and needs to be addressed. Your e2 could have dropped due to rebalancing your nutrients in the proper ratio, from the few supplements that you have added in. Copper is known to help in the detoxfication due to increasing the SOD which helps get rid of estrogen. That is why it is essential to see the total picture of your hormones rather then just taking a snap shot. Alot of your symptoms you are expereincing are with drawl symptoms from the ritalin which is highly documented in clinical studies. What I will suggest is now since being off is that you may want to check your neurotransmitters by neurosceince test (which was next step afer 4 months off ritalin), or you can go get brain mapping down to see what areas of the brain are overactive. Urine test would be the simpliest and is covered by insurance since you were on a psycotic medicine. With proper adrenal support with HCG therapy you will be back on your feet in no time. There are still more pieces of the puzzle to come as well. Once we get those then it will help shed more light to WHY you are low. I have an idea that it has to do with lack of proper fats in the right ratio to maximize your hormones. There is no way to tell exactly how your body reacted to the ritalin at the cellular level. One thing I will say is that levels with this low testosterone you are increasing your chances of insulin resistance as you get older. A few people we are working with have reported improved libido with the proper combination of the right supplements. We prefer not to supplement heavy. I had one person who came to us who was taking i swear 300 different things. After going through his whole nutritional "MESS". It was cut down to 15-20 and now he is doing so much better.. He just pmmed me and told me that he had an erection on his own first time in over a year .. I would love to be a fly on the wall when that popped up at dinner conversations LOL..

Re: My ENTIRE Health Profile Centithread - 57 Test Results, Medical History, Everythi

Here is my take on this I feel your Aldosterone and Renin are both low if you did this test sitting your low.
This is a hormone from your Adrenals and with your DHEA and your out of rhythm Cortisol levels. To me it looks like you need to support your Adrenals with some HC so they can rest and heal. You can read about your Aldosterone levels in this link. I don't see your sodium levels in these labs. I am betting your dumping it and walking around dehydrated. Try getting some good Sea Salt and take 1 tsp full in a glass of water first thing in the morning and see if this makes you feel better.
Adrenal Glands

You look to me to be at stage 4 or between stage 4 to 5. Your fasting blood was very low at 5 mine was 8.

After seeing your LH and FSH as low as it is next I would do a Free T3 test on your Thyroid Total T3 is useless. And do get an ACTH Stimulation test I feel your Secondary and if this test shows this then get an MRI on your Pituitary Gland.
[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ACTH_stimulation_test"]ACTH stimulation test - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:Illu_adrenal_gland.jpg" class="image"><img alt="" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/14/Illu_adrenal_gland.jpg/200px-Illu_adrenal_gland.jpg"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/1/14/Illu_adrenal_gland.jpg/200px-Illu_adrenal_gland.jpg[/ame]

Then if your MRI does not show a tumor, these are not cancer in most cases. Have you had a head injury this is one of the biggest problems with pituitary problems.

So before you treat anything find out why your low then treat your low testosterone and first your low cortisol then if your thyroid is low treat this when you have your adrenals supported.

If you find this to be true then you need to follow your treating this in this link.

Phil adrenals is first priority and that will be modify with adaptogens and maca to help even out the cortisol levels thorugh out the day. There are alot of other factors that are affecting the adrenals we are looking into and are going to rule out. I also suggested 1/2 tsp of salt in water 2 times a day with MACA 1 tsp to see if that will give adrenals a kick so to speak. From a clincal stand point in urine vs salvia his adrenals do not appear to be in that bad of shape as we anticipated. YES they do need to be supported and balanced out. We are gathering all of the pieces of the puzzle together before jumping to any conclusions. Right now he is in a holding pattern untill other results come in and I suggested that he go ahead and start maca. Right now we are trying to avoid an interference with natural hormone production. If he was flat lined then HC would be an option. If there is degree of inuslin resistance (which I suppect there is from his high fructose intake) by increasing his insulin senstivity proper dietary, and exercising along with rebalnace the adrenals with minimal support should restart his own natural testosterone production

Re: My ENTIRE Health Profile Centithread - 57 Test Results, Medical History, Everythi

Sorry Hardasnails I did not know he was working with you he should not post about this if he is working with you. Still it would not hurt to do the ACTH stim. test to be sure it's not his priuitary.

Interesting...never knew of a connection between Maca and adrenal function.

Re: My ENTIRE Health Profile Centithread - 57 Test Results, Medical History, Everythi

Oh yes Maca if your on thyroid meds and go on it some people have to cut back on there meds they go hyper. Maca works good to balance out hormones and keep them leveled.

I do not care if he posts, He is living testimony of what I am capable of among about 20 other people on here that are just waiting to come out of the wood works. BTW being a mod has its preivelges LOL. Through alot of thought process we have major advancement on cases that Dr's could not even touch. I am even looking into getting in contact with CHOPS to start incorporating some of my techniques in to developing a protocol for childern suffering with CF. I just got a message from oldgator that his daughter with CF on on of her test blow a 85%on her pulmonary test. This left the Dr wondering what she has been doing. Old gator also notifed that hes on the way to his best shape in years and I have not even started hardcore nutritoinal counseling yet. My goal is to open up a clinc to where athletes and people can come with all sorts of medical conditions to where a full out nutritional evaluation can be implemented followed by a protocol along with incorporating exploration of hormones. In September I am going to approach the local school how through proper nutritroinal evaluations we can optimize players hormones with out having them resort to anabolic steroids. Majority of people that have worked with me have gotten accused of steroids because of how lean , big and healthy they get in a few months.

pmgamer, thanks for the awesome advice. I will look into that with HAN (even though he has already seen it obviously).

I cant recall any serious head injuries (never had a concussion or anything) but who knows with all the shit I've done with my retarded friends growing up :)

Thanks again!!

Re: My ENTIRE Health Profile Centithread - 57 Test Results, Medical History, Everythi

Well I can tell you this your in good hands with Hardasnails.

Re: My ENTIRE Health Profile Centithread - 57 Test Results, Medical History, Everythi

it aids in helping maintain adrenal function if it is low or high. ITs an adoptogen and can used in combination with other herbs to help modulate adrenals. I use it alot in people with adrenal fatigue along with a few other tricks?

Re: My ENTIRE Health Profile Centithread - 57 Test Results, Medical History, Everythi

Thanks for the update, hardasnails1973. I recently was put on Armour, but have been reading more about the adrenal side of things. I'll look into Maca some more to see if it might be helpful.

Re: My ENTIRE Health Profile Centithread - 57 Test Results, Medical History, Everythi

I would run a salvia cortisol test in comparison with 24 hour urine from quest to see where you are.

Re: My ENTIRE Health Profile Centithread - 57 Test Results, Medical History, Everythi

If you have the means, hire Hardasnails to consult with you. He does a great job.
