hi all

this might go in training and fatloss, think they should put a fatloss topic on here but anyway

a lady friend of mine wants to shed some fat, she currently weighs 14.5st and wants to eventually get down to at least 10.5, she goes to the gym but doesnt really know what the best routine is or how and what to eat and neither to do i cos im a bulker so i dont really know about fatloss.

i hope someone can help

let me know if you need any more info

A stone is 14 pounds here in the usa right? so your friend would be about 200 pounds so she would be best to focus on cardio and semi light weight training. The first pic was me 17 months ago. I was pregnant but i gained a good 50 pound and should have only gained like 25 and the last was me yesterday. Just focus on a clean diet (No boxed or canned food) and plently of cardio.

No problem. I know how it feels to be completely out of shape,,,just tell her to take it slow but be constistent..even if it is just 20 minutes a day at first..she just needs to adopt exercise as part of her everyday routine. that is really the key to success in getting fit.

Well she needs to be patient, it wont happen overnight and if it did it wouldn't look good. 1st thing is diet, she needs to eat 5-6 small meals per day, by doing this it will speed up her metabolism. She needs to slowly phase out sugar, white flour, white starchy foods like white rice, junk food has to go. Then she needs to start a workout program but do it slowly.
She needs to do cardio 4-5 x wk working up to 30-45min, once she can get to those times then she can increase intencity/pace. It just needs to be a life style change altogether. But mostly tell her to be patient, take her time or she will get fustrated and quit..............11

Sportsclub your change is amazing and you should be proud. Great job ;)...........11
