mots-c or nad+

Im looking for something to take before training to increase training capacity and energy. If you could pick one which one would it be and why? Also if there are any other peptides that would work well for this list them.

Neither Mots-C nor Nad+ is some “take it 30 minutes before the gym and turn into Thor” situation.

They’re not pre-workouts. They’re long-game, metabolism-optimizer, lab-coat type stuff. If I had to pick one for actual training capacity over time, I’d go with Mots-C. It seems to help with glucose utilization and endurance signaling. Some people notice better work capacity after a few weeks.

Nad+? Great for the whole “cellular health” conversation. As a pre-workout boost though? You’re probably going to feel absolutely nothing… except maybe proud of yourself for being biohacker-approved.

Those are both compounds that some people feel immensely and some people don't. Im currently doing both morning pre workout (4mg motsc EOD and 50mg NAD EOD on the opposite days) and I don't get much of a noticable boost from them. Going to stop both soon once the vials are out to see if there's much difference not being on them and reassess from there. They really are more "under the hood" type of compounds anyways but some people will say they feel them immediately.

I've given both NAD+ and MOTS-C a trial run. I did notice a benefit from MOTS-C from a cardio standpoint and not tiring as quickly and being able to run a bit longer/easier than normal. Besides that though, I wouldn't say either are a compound to take before a training session to feel anything noticeable. NAD+ I would say I noticed increased energy/alertness when I was running it first thing in the morning while fasting during my last cut. As the answ3r and fozzy53 said, more of a long game and under the hood type of compounds to have in the stack.

Just make sure you’re pairing NAD with TMG and, if necessary by feels, SAMe. The reason for this is because if you’re pushing NAD hard, you’re pushing methylation demands hard too. TMG & SAMe will replenish it. Balance.

Nice testimony.

I was very surprised to see that SS31 was FDA approved.

As far as I know, NAD+ is more “cellular renewal”, as @The Answ3r mentioned.

The reason I bring up SS31 is because both SS31 & MOTS-C are supposed to be the “mitochondria enhancers”.

I can’t think of anything like NAD+ as I don’t have experience with going that deep, but as far as something like MOTS-C or SS31, I’d say COQ10 / Ubiqunol.
