Basic/Affordable/Comprehensive Bloodwork

I think it's BS personally, just some BS homeopathic doctor trying to get money for "treatments " , I don't believe it's functional for what we do, kind of ridiculous if you ask me but I was just curious if anybody else had any feedback about it besides some sarcasm but thanks anyway

I'll post my 20% off referral code too even though I know quite a few people have recently done so.

Hello Good Labs has been working well for me so far and the prices seem on par or better than many other lab services. There turnaround time for results seems quite good too.

Referral Code: 3ffcFG

bro i thought the fact they are testing female hormones from dried urine was enough evidence.
its marketed towards middle aged women, which means its preying on women who don't know anything and filling the gap between patient and an outdated medical system that doesn't care about pre-menopause/menopause.

obviously urine, furthermore dried, is a terrible way to measure anything, probably just a cheaper/easier legal way to run their business or makes the patients feel more comfortable.
probably makes it so pretty much anyone running a health business can promote this testing without having to be licensed to collect blood and recieve some sort of incentive, and they don't have to compete with or cut in QUEST/LABCORP

It's not only Tailored for women, maybe your example that you found was discussing women, but that's not the only way it was designed , but thanks for the info anyways "I think it's a BS test myself" and I was just looking for a little bit more confirmation so I could show him , that yeah this is " stupid". Excuse GPT shit , IMG_4394.webp

For general hormone levels, not sure of the value of this test. But, typically you add 4-6 urine samples over a 24 hour period. My understanding is that you can gather hormone values over a full day to see your peaks and valleys. Apparently, can be used to measure cortisol values over the day as well.

So again, for general testosterone or e2 values, not super valuable. But for a deeper dive to get daily fluctuations, I can see some merit.

lmao, example that i found? you mean the actual products website.
how about you go there and see what I mean instead of being defensive or something.

the entire website is about menopause, all the photos of people, and doctors are 95% women

it even has a calculator for a menstral cycle for "optimal collection"

Hello everyone -

So I've always used fitomics for my labs and I have had a great experience with them for the past year. But got curious yesterday and was pricing all the tests out on Goodlabs and I believe it ends up being cheaper if you factor in their pyramid scheme referral code bonuses.

Just curious, is goodlabs y'alls go-to? Am thinking about trying them out for my next set of bloods. And the referral code has got me interested because I already interpret all of my school friend's bloodwork panels for them. If anyone has experience with that could you explain how the bonuses work? Like I see you can get 20% your own order and your friend's orders, but it also says their are additional rewards too.

Also I've only ever used labcorp before, is there any fundamental difference with quest? like obviously its the same tests but is it still (somwhat) anonymous in that if you don't make an account your data won't be stored/accessable to other medical professionals?

Thanks!

When you use someone's code you get 20% off then they ALSO get 20% off their next labs as long as they are done within a certain time frame. Mine was within 90 days but i thought it was 30 days when i first started using goodlabs. Other rewards - after so many referrals they email you and send you a gift. Hats, shirts etc. The Quest I go to has never asked for ID.

This is what i use to compare prices.

Price aside, a few key points.

Fitomics
# Year round 10% coupon code.
# Monthly membership fee.
# No blood draw fee.
# Like twice a year (it seems), they give out a reusable 20-25% coupon code, that's when i buy most of the tests for the rest of the year.

GL
# 20% referral bonus.
# No membership fee.
# 12$ per blood draw.

If you draw bloods often, the blood draw fee basically pays the membership itself.
