homebrew calculator

yeah brother i have absolute no idea what you're talking about
Don’t blame me for using AI. Also I read quite some posts describing different BA BB formulas for different compounds.

Based on common practices for formulating injectable anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS), different compounds often require varying concentrations of Benzyl Alcohol (BA) and Benzyl Benzoate (BB) to ensure stability, solubility, and reduced injection pain. BA acts as a bacteriostatic agent (preventing bacterial growth), while BB serves as a solvent to increase the oil solubility of the hormone powder
.
  • Testosterone Esters (e.g., Enanthate, Cypionate): These are often formulated with a moderate amount of BB (e.g., 10-20%) and BA (e.g., 2-3%) to keep the oil thin and the compound dissolved.
  • Highly Concentrated Compounds (e.g., Trenbolone Acetate, Sustanon): High-concentration compounds often require higher amounts of BB (often 20% or more) and a moderate amount of BA to prevent the hormone from "crashing" (crystallizing) out of the solution and to reduce pain at the injection site.
  • Propionate Esters: Because these are often higher concentration per ml, they may require different ratios to ensure they remain stable.
  • Nandrolone Decanoate: Often formulated similarly to testosterone, but sometimes with lower concentrations of solvents depending on the carrier oil used.
The goal of altering the BA/BB ratios is to maintain a stable, non-crystallized, and relatively painless injectable solution. Higher levels of BB can reduce pain but may cause irritation in sensitive individuals.

What I understand is that different compounds require different ba bb concentrations. It would be nice to have those auto update based on the compound.

Too many factors..for instance you need less BA/BB for certain oils, purity affects it as well, temperature, whether you reheat your oils on each pin, etc. Even if it dissolves, it might be too thick, so then it boils down to personal preference..etc

There's a recipe Bible spreadsheet somewhere, but I think it general if you just use 20-25% BB, it should be fine for normal concentration gear.

Gotya thanks. I’ll dig some more when my oil stash runs out and I need to resort to my raws stash. I recently bought some BB bc my test cyp from a reputable vendor here needs a bit more, currently causing massive pip/ internal chrystalization after injection. I’m going to start by adding 1% and go from there, see if I can revive those kits.

Best investment you could get is a mug warmer. Like 10-20 bucks on Amazon. Few mins on it before each pin.

good approach, but when brewing you should start the other way round. my first Cyp220 had around 28% BB. my newest brew of cyp, 235Cyp225EQ had like 18-20%BB.

my calculator is made for homebrewers.

they can enter bb and ba ratios themselves

idk what u want me to add?

im not gonna add warnings or anything like that
"Warning: This shit will PIP like hell you moron"
maybe add a Cortana-like assistant as well to say these messages, while you are at it. And VR support. And a way to support Xbox controllers for inputs.

Firstly I’m not criticizing your work. It’s amazing. What I’m proposing is when you enter the compound, concentration and carrier oil, the BB and BA contents of the recipe are adjusted accordingly, then maybe even adjusted when you add EO. I thought maybe somebody had a file where all the recipe combinations are present. I’m not aware of such a file but I’m just thinking out loud. If it’s a dumb idea fine. I digress.
