111 CRP on DNP

DNP got my CRP up to 111. Normally it's at 5 max. Other blood values are fine or at least okay.

I'm off for a few days. Never touching that lethal junk ever again. Any recommendations what to do?

What do your other markers look like?

Muscle rhabdo is a given, the question is how hard did it hit kidneys, liver or least likely the heart, which determine whether you need imaging, will most likely see recovery over the next few weeks / months, or escaped unharmed (except for some recoverable muscle injury).

Also if that 5 is off cycle you have other issues you need to get to the bottom of.

I added a pdf with my latest blood values. By 5 I just meant to say the max range of crp. My bad.

Kidneys look good which are most vulnerable but no liver markers and one can have acute injury and the other not. You need another panel:

AST, ALT, bilirubin, INR - liver
(GGT of no use here)

CK - muscle

Repeat creatinine/urea - kidneys .

Repeat CRP - is the fire still going?

If you want to be sure no heart strain injury get High Sensitivity or regular Troponin I or T (hs-cTnI) but tbh you’d have noticed symptoms.

My heart rate goes up to 90 plus. Then I take some bisoprolol. Pressure is normal. 120/70.

The insides of my hands started to "tickle" 2 days ago, painfully. Feels like a lot of needles. Sometimes I forget about it and flinch when I touch something.

I lose my mind often. Electrolytes are messed up. Eating nutritious food calms after a while.

I try to drink a lot. I take curcuma, rosemary, raw honey, lots of vitamins, fermented garlic, zinc.

Could be electrolytes, also anxiety over all this. Neuropathy isn’t a major symptom. Dont take any chances if things get worse / weird though. Go to the ER .

How much did you take and for how long?
For 8 days in total. 3 scoops from VSL Research a day, 2 earlier in the day, 1 later - for 3 days. Then 4 scoops for 2, 5 for 1, back to 4 and back to 3 again. 1 scoop is said to be 100 to 150mg.

I was stupid and increased the dose because I didn't see any weight loss, neither did I really feel warmer over the first 3 days. I later got real problems with my stomach - gastric mucosa was hit real bad each time.

After my last dose I caught a cold outside. Coughing on the way home. Then my voice sounded sick and my throat hurt. I got the typical fever feelings. Everything started to hurt and then extreme heat suddenly came over me. Even my face felt like it's on fire. I should have slept already and I really chose to rather go to bed instead of the hospital. I didn't know if I'd wake up again.

I did wake up, I was glad. But with a ton of darkness and depression burdening me. The heat was gone but I never felt so extremely weak before. I couldn't get out of bed and fell asleep again. Later I managed to get up and stumbled into the living room where I instantly felt the need to lay down on the sofa and fell asleep again instantly. I couldn't keep my eyes open for anything. Extreme lethargy.

I only went to the hospital 1 or 2 days later when my energy was coming back. I could have died at home before. I know.

Doctors said organs like liver, kidneys are fine but the inflammation is so extreme that there's a chance my heart will give up and I'd have to get brought back to life by them eventually. Guess they must have referred to the CRP.

I feel the sides and back of my neck to be tight. My stomach felt uncomfortable for a few days but is better now, the left and right lumbar regions feel uncomfortable going down to my hypergastric region.

"is said to be 100-150mg" hahahahaha my guy dry scooping DNP hahahahahahahhahahaha

Uric acid is high.... I think best to be under 5 despite that reference range. Wonder if you have a history or impending case of gout?

Either way, that CRP is so crazy high I just cant believe it would even be repeatable. I have a hard time believing 8 days of DNP would cause that...but also stop the DNP and re-test HS-CRP.

Edit: basically Dr. Ghoul (honorary) has you covered on this one.

you used a source that has a 90% purity (most of the time under as their 90% was their best test) + did not use correct measuring for your dosage, looks like this ones on u

Geez I always hear people say how dangerous dnp is because it fucked them up. But then you hear they were blindly ramping up the dose way before it has time to reach steady state. You were just guessing on the dose and could have been messing up and taking 200 mg per scoop without knowing it, basically ramping up to 1g a day... Maybe it wouldn't be so harmful if people used their brain and were careful and took the minimum effective dose.

I rested for 2 weeks after getting off the DNP.

I often feel some pain in my left chest, sometimes like stabs, randomly for weeks. Mental health bad. A lot of darkness. Had to go to the gym. Did 2 workouts in 1 week. Noticed my heart starts racing after a set and doesn't calm down. Yet I continued with long breaks. 3rd workout multiple days later I thought I'm about to get a heart attack. Extreme tightness in my left chest only. Couldn't breath.

These are the latest bloodwork results from Friday night. Had a meal 2 to 3 hours before. That elevated the glucose level.

Looks like I was very lucky and there's no harm from the DNP according to the bloodwork results or it was minor and I already recovered.

X-ray of my heart, ECG turned out fine. But high blood pressure. It used to be fine before. I was on high dosages of Test C from SSA months ago, now only on higher TRT dosages. Still the same kit from SSA.

Why do I suddenly have high blood pressure? It was normal on DNP, expectedly.

I added creatine, PQQ, the most expensive curcuma extract and D Ribose powder to my supplements. Loading creatine with 20g a day for a week. Gained 8 to 9 lbs after 2 workouts. Is the creatine storing more water in my heart as well?

Just measured 144/82, 68 heart rate. 40mg Telmisartan for the 2nd day.

The doctor said I can continue my workouts. Just taking Telmisartan and not focusing on my heart. Anxiety induced issues.

Psychological stress is probably a significant driver of this, but you also likely injured the endothelium, so vessels can’t relax.

The most important thing you can do, imo, and what I would focus on, is ensuring you’re absolutely certain you’re keeping below 130/80 for the next 3 months (<120/70 even better). You don’t want sheer stress stretching what’s already a damaged endothelium, “locking in” damage instead of allowing it to heal. ACE/ARB is the best for this (you’ve got that covered with telm) , and CCBs are also very good for endothelium protection.
