IM needle sizes and common practices

Seen this but that is for 1ml syringes and 13mm pins. I need something for a 3ml barrel.

I got one off ebay for the 3mm… expensive and wonky… but it works when u make a slight adjustment: the top plastic cover requires u to put a piece of foam or something on top of the syringe when the lid is closed or that bastard will slam the needle into the inside wall of the device…

Thanks. Does it have enough strength to push GSO through a 27g? How does it feel having the needle slammed into the flesh (lol)? I saw the injector guns but they were mostly for those who can't pierce the needle, not for help pushing the plunger when injecting e.g. lats

The thing has a bunch of force… donkey punchy id say haha… but u can walk it off… slams the needle in pretty quickly…

What needle length do you use with this?

I use 25G 1 inch for every site, side delts, rear delts, lats and sometimes i add pecs in rotation.

I've no problem with thin needles but i strongly believe on going deep with IM. I'm pretty sure many dudes that use half inch insulin pins for IM rotation, they're just doing shallow IM/subc and fool themselves. Even at 7-8% bodyfat with enough muscle mass a half inch may be good for delts but even pecs or lats i wouldn't be comfortable doing them with short needles, it's funny some guys doing glutes and ventroglutes with slins and think they're reaching muscle when they're +10% bodyfat.

Also, i believe that scar tissue of unfrequent shots with a 25G versus a scar tissue of a 29G and daily shots would be pretty similar. Piercing the muscle with a somewhat thicker needle 2-3 times a week vs piercing the muscle with a thinner needle everyday is close IMO.

So i don't agree at all with those who end up doing every day shots just to avoid a thicker needle in order to not create scar tissue. If you want to avoid scar tissue you can do subc and call it a day.

The perfect scenario for me is doing 3 IM shots a week with a thin needle like 27G or 29G and 1 inch long. Unfortunately i can't find anywhere here in my country a gauge like this so i'm doing 25G. I wouldn't mind wait another 10 seconds for the oil to come out.

Come back in ten years and you'll be telling a different story.
I’m pretty much still a novice going on 5 yrs of ped use and I’m learning as I go …..started with 21g now at 25g guess 30 g is next

I rotate quads glutes and delts but I see lats can be a viable option….btw I have developed scar tissue already on right quad don’t know if my age has anything to do with it (57) but I have learned Nipro brand needles are far better than the generic stuff from amazon

I’m using 25g started out out with 21

Nipro needles are the best imo

I been using nipro 25g 1.5" for IM oil. For certain locations like the delt I just dont push it in all the way. Most everything else gets 30g 1/2" . Works perfectly for me. I still have a full box of easy touch 27g 5/8" that I ordered by accident. But I'm sure they will get used up for the delts
