HGH protocol feedback

All,

Two-part question. Looking for community feedback.

1) Testing
I have some UGL HGH on the way. It came with Janoshik results (attached).

Does it still make sense to do independent testing, or is that usually overkill?

2) Use case, side effects, and monitoring

My goals are longevity and looking good. I want to minimize side effects, especially insulin resistance / diabetes risk.

Current setup:

•Testosterone: 200 mg/week
  • Retatrutide: 3 mg/week
Plan:
  • Get baseline labs before starting HGH
  • Start low and only increase if labs and side effects look good
Questions:
  • For people using low dose HGH long term, what side effects showed up first for you (water retention, numb hands, BP, sleep, etc.)?
  • What labs and monitoring cadence matter most to catch problems early? (A1c, fasting glucose, fasting insulin, IGF-1, lipids, etc.)
  • Any red flags that made you stop or reduce dose?
Just want to pressure-test my approach and monitoring plan before I start.

Nobody can answer this for you. You have to determine your risk tolerance and your needs.

My goals are longevity and looking good

These things are not accomplished with with drug use. They come from lifestyle habits. You can't inject new habits.

I want to minimize side effects, especially insulin resistance / diabetes risk.
What is your current fasted blood glucose and a1c and blood pressure?

Are you doing daily cardio? If not, start that before even considering using HGH.

what side effects showed up first for you (water retention, numb hands, BP, sleep, etc.
Water retention is not a side effect. It is an effect.

Higher levels of GH cause more fluid retention, regardless of how it shows up. Natural or exogenous.

What labs and monitoring cadence matter most to catch problems early? (A1c, fasting glucose, fasting insulin, IGF-1, lipids, etc.

Yes. And monitor blood pressure because of the increased fluid retention

Any red flags that made you stop or reduce dose?
blood pressure above 120/70, allergic reaction or any other intolerance.

@Elektrobot,

Thank you for the feedback!

“Nobody can answer this for you. You have to determine your risk tolerance and your needs.‘ — makes sense.

“These things are not accomplished with with drug use. They come from lifestyle habits. You can't inject new habits.“ — agree 100% and no issues here. I don’t drink, am at the gym 5 days a week where I do cardio, and overall lead a healthy lifestyle.

BP- 110/65 per my omron
Glucose, A1C, etc were all healthy when I tested -2 months ago. Will reconfirm before injecting anything

Your insight is appreciated

Testing is never overkill. You have a single test for a single vial, likely out of thousands, provided by the person selling it, and it’s not even guaranteed it’s from the same batch you received.

But GH testing is expensive, so it might be worth trying to find or form a test group to pool the expense of 3p testing.

I’ve seen the prices on Jano. I was thinking the same thing. Either way, I will share my results back with the community.
