Are you on a cycle? Are you using insulin? If you aren't doing at least one of these things then HGH probably won't contribute to much muscle mass.

If you pin in the morning you could try IM as it will absorb faster so if you can't wait 3-4 hours to eat then it might be a better option.

Yea I am on cycle, but without insulin for now.

No problem but you might become more insulin resistant with time so try not to go crazy on the carbs unless you have a glucose monitor with you or CGM. And that breaks every few months. I used to use rHGH 2-3 hours before my workouts and have some protein and carbs as an intra workout at like 25g protein/25g simple carbs like Gatorade or maltodextrin or juice. I was cutting so overall calories and carbs were low. No issues with blood glucose levels. At least until my cheat meal on the weekend. If I overdid it my bg would shoot skyhigh like 200+. So I was definitely getting insulin resistant it was just masked by the diet. Everything went back to normal when I dropped the HGH for a few months. Now I take it before bed away from food and don't have those issues with cheat meals anymore

Here's the thing you gotta understand.

HGH and Insulin compete for the same receptors.

In our natural state, when Insulin increases, GH production decreases, and the insulin can bind to the receptors to do what it needs to do.

When we use exogenous HGH, our body can't decrease it. It's there. We shot it directly in with a needle. There is no taking it back. So our body can not decrease the GH to let the insulin bind to the receptors.

HGH prevents insulin from doing its job, which creates....... insulin resistance- and chronically high blood sugar IF you are eating after taking HGH.

20 years on this platform and you still dont have reading comprehension. I said in 2-3 hours half of the hgh is out of your blood and its fine to eat as the carbs wont cause insulin reduced fat burn. AFTER the half life, insulin sensitivty is reduced which allows you to eat without having much problems. Now if your talking about hgh induced igf which lasts in the body for way longer you would be right but at the 3 hours mark the hgh in your system begins to DECREASE, hence HALF LIFE. I get your around your 40’s and technology is hard to understand but its very easy to google and even gpt this stuff. I know theres some online courses who will be very patient with someone of your level
 
Certainly not mandatory, but you could pin in the morning and take advantage by hitting zone 2 and/or lifting about 3 hrs after sq pin. Save first carbs until ~ 5 hrs after pin. (The cutting approach that’s stickied on this forum,)

By all means though, if you believe I am wrong do correct me. Instead of giving 1 sentence explanations that explain exactly what I just said, use that 20 years of knowledge to enlighten me.
 
I used to pin before bed but my sleep was poor way before gear and with gear it’s just went worse. Currently I’m doing 8IU first thing in the morning subc and eat a little under 2 hours after the shot. I don’t measure bg though but fck it, sleep is nr1 priority.

In my case tbh I still sleep like shit even with morning shots but my rhr through sleep has dropped quite well, so that’s something too.

In my upcoming cruise I’ll drop the dose to 5iu and probably try it before bed again.

With 4iu I wouldn’t stress it too much tbh, the dose is not that high that it could have a huge impact on bg levels. If you don’t like it before bed shoot it in the morning and do your first meal as you were supposed to do.
 
Hello! I have terrible sleep with 4ui GH before bed. I'm considering moving them in the morning. I would appreciate it if you could advise me whether it is mandatory and if so how long after the morning pin should I not eat for full effect?

what’s wrong why can’t you sleep on it?

as far as timing goes, imo it’s preference.
(of course also nutrient timing / schedule)
