The testing had black tops so im assuming those are the caps of the 40iu kits being sent out
I missed that part. I was asking around because I got purple tops and from the sounds of it everybody's been getting purple tops if you ordered after testing became available. 1 person on here who ordered before testing was posted said they got black tops

Tracy has said many times that the cap color doesnt mean anything so I wouldn't be too concerned.
If you ordered the 40iu kits then you got that kit whether you have black or they have purple its presumed to be the exact same batch. As im expecting they run out of specific colors all the time and just use what's available
