Placed mine last week, still says “have yet to been received”

Sounds about right. Can take 10-12 days sometimes. Then it usually moves pretty quick after that.

I was about to ask if anyone’s UAE packs were actually moving and decided to check tracking one more time before I hit the post reply button.

After 2 weeks of “origin post preparing shipment” mine finally got to customs

Same here, it's already through customs now. Looked like the delay was on export from UAE so probably affected all packages sent around the same time.

Same here as well. The info I got prior to them moving was that they were understaffed at the UAE post and that a lot of packages were just sitting with the post waiting to be processed. Glad things are moving again.

Same - I had two packages, ordered from two places about a week apart. They ended up in UAE at the same time and then both took longer than usual to finally pop up here.

In my experience, for whatever reason, UAE packages often are processed on a Friday in the USA. Has happened to almost all of them for me at least at this point.
