Can't seem to get my fasted morning blood glucose at the right level on HGH

Did you track your FBG before starting GH? If so, what was it?

Get bloodwork to check your A1C and insulin.

Avoid using GH on high carb days until you get this under control

I didn't track it before, but when I took a 1 day break it was down to 88. And my last physical, which was pre-HGH, was at 87. Both were fasted tests.

I had blood work done last week and my A1C was 4.7 and insulin was 8.9.

I eat about 270 grams of carbs every day. I'm not sure what you consider high carb but I suspect these are mid to low carb numbers.

I take L-carnitine with my GH, in the same syringe. must end up being about 350-400mg with the dose of GH. I'm on 10IU GH and I dont track BG, but HbA1c and fasting tryglicerides actually dropped since adding it in and 0.5mg Reta EOD during my build phase.

Also, how big are you? Do you possibly have sleep apnea? I'm sure terrible sleep probaby doesnt help the situation.

I'm not big at all - 5'9 193 pounds at 12% body fat. I've been tested for sleep apnea as well as every other sleeping issue in existence and I apparently don't have any of them.

I don't see where anyone here asked what your IGF is on your current dose.

Do you have igf test numbers? You might be a hyper responder, or maybe your gh is dosed above the label. Lets look into that.

A1C is good but insulin is maybe moderate?

I also think sub 300 is mid to low. When I'm in a 1,000 calorie deficit, I still hit 150-200 carbs a day.

I never tested my IGF before or during. I think my GH is properly dosed given the COAs I've seen. But it's certainly possible it's overdosed.

The range for insulin says anything below 18.4 is optimal. It doesn't give a range for moderate versus low though.

I'm not in a deficit, I'm in a bulk. I just have a ridiculously slow metabolism so I can bulk on 2700 calories a day.

Start at step 1 dude.

Without knowing your natty baseline IGF, and then testing your response to HGH, you are literally just guessing at things.

This doesn't even matter if you don't know what dose you need

Stop GH for a week to 10 days. Eat at maintenance for that period of time.

Get your IGF-1 tested

Plan a dose based on bloodwork.

Re-test after a few weeks of running that dose.

Without any of that done, there is no answer, only guesses.

That's likely what I'll end up doing if I can't get the BG under control in the next week.

Last night I bumped my metformin from 500mg to 1000mg and today my fasted BG was 95. So if it stays there or continues dropping I'll consider it solved. If not, I'll stop and get a baseline and start over.

How long you been on Hgh ? Im being lazy

About 9 weeks. Did 2 IU for 3 weeks, then 3IUs for another 3 weeks, then 4 IUs ever since. I did do 5IUs 1 day this week just to see if the BG would be higher the next day (it wasn't).
I would, "re-boot". You haven't been on long enough. , only really to have seemingly problematic symptoms, no baseline igf1 , i had to re-boot when i first started hgh , its not a big deal , better to do it right then half ass it and not really getting much out of it except problems . Good Luck on your Journey

Thanks. Yeah that's probably what I'll do if it's not under control in a week. I just started a blast so I don't really want to stop now and rebaseline due to the timing. When the blast is over I'll stop regardless and get a natty baseline.

I wish I had found this site before I ever started or bought anything though. I've learned so much more here in the past 2 weeks then my previous 6 months or research elsewhere (Reddit, reading articles, chatgpt, etc)

2-3 hours pre workout is what I'm doing now. I take it around 8:30 or 9:00am and I workout at 11:00am.

I don't have any CTS issues, I've just found that I'm waking up a LOT when I take it before bed. I've always had sleep issues but they got substantially worse on HGH at night.
Gotcha. I understand. I always wake up a lot too but it's to pee. I've always been like that though. As far back as I can remember. I really need to ask my doc about mirbegron

I have had to pee in the middle of the night more since being on HGH, but even pre-HGH and only waking up once per night, I still wake up absolutely exhausted every morning.

I tried Using that and I didn't have any luck with it honestly, it works for some and some I don't I think as much, it's more of biological clock with me to get up and pee I've been doing it forever myself
