Did you have tariffs on it? How much?
nobody said anything to me about tariffs but the carrier could well include a bill when they deliver it. the way it was sent and the time of year may well have let it fall through the cracks. it first hit the states in northern IL, and has been making its way west to me in hawaii. currently its at a hub in california so it shouldnt be much longer

I've never been taxed on any UGL CN/India shipment, but the value declared by the vendors on this board are so low, it'd be insignificant..I can't foresee anyone chasing you to get a few dollars for trariff..

ive been trafficking drone parts from china for near a decade and even since the de minimus exception went away i havent noticed a change in the way customs handles products. truth is they are so overwhelmed, it would create an unrealistic backlog if they had to wait to hold every package until tariffs were paid. it would be a logistical nightmare. now had the package been shipped DHL, DHL will pay whatever tariff customs wants and then bill you for it if you want your package. at least thats how they handle EU VAT, used to piss off my customers so bad we had to start warning them

I think PCT ZONE charges customers for tariffs, i only paid like $3. Only vendor i seen charging for tariffs. Now i go through 24/7

Yea they charge you 15% upfront when you order from them, which i found extremely odd because they are definitely not declaring the actual value of the packs to customs.

They are way more expensive that 24/7 too, and im pretty sure they have less variety. The thing i like about them though is they send to another country before shipping to the US because seizure rates on Indian packages are high. Shipping time wasnt too bad neither, like 2-3 weeks. But they are more expensive

please tell me you arent one of those ones that believes the other country pays the tariffs.... its way too early in the morning for me

You have no idea how business works, obviously living on money other people generate.

If a tariff of 10% is charged on a product I’m importing, I can’t just add that to the sale price.

If I could, then why the fuck wouldn’t I have just increased the price by 10% to boost my profits?

If electric rates, or wages, or raw materials rise, increasing manufacturing costs by 10%, that doesn’t automatically translate into a 10% increase in what I can charge for my product, unless I have a monopoly, the only source in the world for it. (In which case you’re going to pay out of your ass for however much I can squeeze out of you, tariffs or not).

Most of the time, the majority of those cost increases get shaved off the manufacturer, distributors, and retailers profit margins. It also makes me sharpen my pencil looking for efficiencies to bring down other costs. Move my factory to a location with lower electric, labor, or tariff rates. Find a cheaper way to ship. Buy some robots to automate the process and become more efficient…

Thats why your cheap Chinese crap at Walmart hasn’t gone up 50% in price, more like single digit percentages (if at all), despite that 50% tariff rate being in place for a year.

Include the fact that the tariff rate on generic drugs is…..ZERO lol. My other India vendors just declare them as generic vitamins, and they aren’t charged any duties. If a pack gets inspected it’s almost certainly getting seized anyway.

None of my other India vendors added a percentage for “tariffs”. I think PCTZone only gets away with that and higher prices generally because of the convenience of a website that can be ordered from, and some local warehouses. Otherwise they’re not competitive at all.

Im gonna assume this was meant for someone else considering i import/export for a living...

And why could you not add that to the sale price? most businesses do.,..

and you could. and why dont you? if there is no competition in your market there is nothing preventing you from doing just that

The point i was trying to make is that there is no additional charge for tariffs. The tariffs are included with your final quote.
Why would they be included in the final quote? AASRAW is a china based company. they are not being charged any tariff so there is no cost to be passed down to any customer unless you are suggesting they are simply gouging us, which given the lack of serious market competition, is a real option

As far as i know, they are paying tariffs since the de minimus exemption ended. But I dont think AASraw is gouging because their prices are the best that i have seen out of multiple vendors from this forum and others. Raws are still scarce right now, many raw vendors stopped selling them and are now focusing on peptides because of the risk. But more raws are coming into circulation recently, so hopefully we start to see prices go down. Even then, customs is a growing problem as seen in canada. Most vendors wont even ship to canada anymore, and im sure domestic prices in canada are probably through the roof right now

First order with this vendor hit a snag.

Order and paid Nov 6, tracking number received Nov 9, no movement so I reached out Nov 28 and was told "But considering it didn't update, logistic agent speculated that it may have been lost by US operators"

I asked what they do now, but no reply yet.

So they confirmed it wasnt a customs issue? Thats weird, i havent heard of that happening before. If anything, i would think customs got it. They are saying the carrier lost the package?

Yep they confirmed it cleared customs. They sent me a picture of the tracking details and the last update says:

2025-11-13: In the US, the shipment has been handed over to the last-mile delivery service provider for pickup and delivery. Please check the official website for updates.

USPS has been extremely unreliable.

I had a priority pack take six weeks deliver, it scanned at receiving post office and wasn’t scanned again until two days before it landed.
